摘要： In a flooring panel, plural blocks are held by a holding member of a flexible material so that one section is formed by at least one block with a space for laying a cable defined between adjacent sections. A cover member overlying these spaces is arranged to present a surface continuous with the upper surface of the blocks to form a flat, top surface of the flooring panel. The flooring panel is in the form of a rectangular modular flooring panel of at least one shape and size. A plurality of cable laying spaces in communication with one another are defined by laying a plurality of such modular flooring panels on a building floor as a function of the amount of cables to be laid. In such a manner, the operation of cable laying and construction of the flooring panels on the permanent building floor may be performed more efficiently while the interaction between the cables of different kinds is minimized.

摘要： Apparatus for indicating incomplete and complete fastening of a screw includes a washer and a ring of a generally flat synthetic resin sheet. The washer includes a pair of washer portions of a generally flat, round shape and a joint portion interconnecting the washer portions to face them in opposite directions to enable the washer portions to receive a shank of a screw in the openings thereof. The lengthwise section of the joint portion forms generally a U shape. The ring is made of a generally round, deformable material and is inserted between the pair of washer portions thus facing each other. The deformable material is expanded radially outward, when compressed by the washer portions receiving the shank of the screw when fastened. Upon the compressive force reaching a predetermined value, the ring will be broken due to the pair of washer portions overlaying one another.

In one embodiment, a spindle motor is turned on by application of power, then the temperature of a ramp is measured and it is determined whether the temperature of the ramp has reached a preset temperature (about 25° C.) or not. If the answer is negative, a heater is energized to heat the ramp for raising the temperature of the ramp. When it is detected that the temperature of the ramp has reached the preset temperature, the heating of the ramp is stopped and the execution of loading and unloading operations is permitted, then an ordinary processing is started.

摘要： During normal operation in which a motor cylinder is operative, when a depressing force cut-off valve is closed, a front wheel is braked by operating a first wheel cylinder by brake fluid pressure generated by the motor cylinder. When there is an abnormality in which the motor cylinder breaks down, the front wheel is braked by supplying, via the opened depressing force cut-off valve, brake fluid pressure generated by a master cylinder operated by a driver's braking operation to the first wheel cylinder, and a rear wheel is braked by supplying the brake fluid pressure to a second wheel cylinder. Thus, since both the front and rear wheels are braked by the brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder in case of abnormality, a vehicle can be reliably stopped by a sufficient braking force.

摘要： Gas contaminants generated from the grease of bearings operating in a magnetic disk device adhere to the magnetic head and causing stiction and magnetic head crash. Such bearings are typically spindle bearings and pivot bearings. In operation, heat is generated that causes the bearing grease to generate the gases. By heat treating the grease, slow evaporating substances of hydrocarbon compounds with carbons of C9 to C13 in the grease are reduced to not more than 0.001 wt. % of the grease. The grease can then be used to lubricate the bearings. The heat treatment is performed at a temperature of 60.degree. to 100.degree. C. at a pressure of 10.sup.-3 to 10.sup.-8 torr. The assembled, lubricated bearings can be heat treated separately from the magnetic disk device or the heat treatment can take place after the bearings have been assembled in the magnetic disk device.
