    • A seal assembly including first and second rigid shields and a sealing member carried by the first shield and having a first and second annular sealing lip in sealing engagement with respective sliding surfaces of the second shield. The first sealing lip carries in a radial seat thereof a toroidal spring exerting a radially eccentric thrust on the first sealing lip with respect to an elastic hinge defined by a common root portion of the lips, having a center of rotation located along a line extending through a V-shaped sealing edge of the first lip and forming a 20° to 60° angle with a radial plane. The root portion is defined between two opposite annular recesses having a U-shaped cross-section and bottom walls facing each other, substantially aligned along the aforementioned line.

    • A sealing assembly including a sealing member made of elastomeric material and PTFE; a supporting armature; and an annular L-shaped shield cooperating, in use, with the sealing member. The armature has a sleeve portion and a radial flange portion partly supporting a radial portion of the sealing member, projecting towards the axis of symmetry and made of elastomeric material with no supporting armature. The radial portion increases in axial size towards the axis of symmetry, and supports, on its free end, a sleeve made of PTFE, the sleeve having a cylindrical first end portion projecting axially, and a conical second end portion projecting axially on the opposite side to and by a greater amount than the first end portion to form an elastically deformable axial sealing lip extending, in undeformed conditions, farther away from the axis of symmetry as it comes away from the flange portion.

    • A sealing device for a bearing of the hub of a motor vehicle wheel comprising a stationary race (1) and a rotatable race (2), each defining respective channels (6, 7) for the passage of pressurized air. The sealing device (20) is to be mounted between the rotatable race and the stationary race in order to delimit laterally and hermetically seal an annular space or chamber (14) defined between the bearing races (1, 2) and communicating with the channels (6, 7). The sealing device (20) comprises two sealing units (9) axially facing one another. Each sealing unit (9) comprises an annular reinforcement (10) having an axial cylindrical wall (10a) for mounting to a first bearing race (1) and a radial wall (10b) for reinforcing a flexible gasket (11). The two sealing units (9) are coupled by means of an annular element (21) having a plurality of radial air passages (22). The annular element (21) is located coaxially and forcefully coupled with radial interference with the cylindrical walls (10a) of the two reinforcements (10). The cylindrical walls (10a) of the two reinforcements are axially spaced from one another for allowing pressurized air to flow through the passages (22) of the annular element (21).
