摘要： A sampler for collecting vertically continuous media samples from aggregate liquid filtering systems. The sampler includes a sample collecting lower section have an inner member rotatably carried within an outer member. These lower members have slots which may be aligned by relative rotation of the members. An upper extension section has inner and outer members which are releasably coupled to the lower inner and outer members. The extension section has handles which allow manual rotation of the inner members relative to the outer members. The handles are used to insert the sampler into an aggregate bed, open the slots to collect a sample, close the slots and remove the sampler from the bed.
