    • A clamp device inserted between two parts can prevent a relative movement between a brake disc and a brake caliper of a vehicle brake. The device includes two plates, with adjustable separation by way of at least two rollers running against each other and rolling on roller surfaces on facing inner sides of the plates. When the rollers are located in the region of a first section of the roller surfaces, the separation of the plates for bringing about clamping in an extended state is greater than the separation adopted by the plates to generate clamping in a withdrawn state when the rollers are located in the region of a second section of the roller surfaces. The position of the rollers relative to the roller surfaces may be altered by an actuator.

    • A brake cylinder includes a pressure medium actuated brake piston delimiting a brake chamber and connected to a brake piston rod. The brake piston, together with the piston rod, swivels into positions tilted from a center axis of the brake cylinder during an actuation stroke. The brake piston is rigid and has a guide surface in the shape of a spherical surface of an imaginary sphere on its radially outer peripheral surface. The guide surface is guided along a radially inner cylinder wall of the brake cylinder with the center of the sphere lying on the center axis of the brake cylinder. The brake piston further has at least one elastic sealing element radially displaceable in a radially outer annular groove of the brake piston and delimiting an annular space together with a groove base of the annular groove on its side facing away from the radially inner cylinder wall. The annular space is fluidically coupled to the brake chamber such that contact pressure of the outer diameter of the sealing element against the radially inner cylinder wall of the brake cylinder depends on the pressure in the brake chamber.

    • A separable clutch for a motor vehicle has a clutch plate including a moveably mounted release unit for engaging and disengaging the clutch. The clutch plate is pressure-medium actuated and includes an actuating piston which acts on the release unit in order to engage and disengage the clutch, and a pressure chamber which can be pressurized, and relieved of pressure, by pressure medium and which is delimited at one side by at least one part of the actuating piston and at the other side by at least one part of a clamping piston. At least the actuating piston, the pressure chamber and the clamping piston are resiliently supported in a defined position against the release unit by spring force. The force exerted by the spring is smaller than a limit force required for actuating the release unit. On account of a pressure change, brought about by a clutch actuation, in the pressure chamber, the clamping piston actuates a clamping device such that the clamping piston is fixed before the actuating piston actuates the release unit.

    • An electronic vehicle service braking system having at least one braking cylinder and a pressure control module with a control chamber and a working chamber. The working chamber is connected to an air supply via a supply line, the control chamber is connected to the air supply via a connecting line and an inlet valve and to the atmosphere via an outlet valve. The control chamber is also connected to a back-up braking system via a back-up line and a back-up valve, and a control system is provided for controlling at least the inlet valve and the back-up valve. The control system controls the valves such that the back-up valve is opened together with the inlet valve, enabling air to flow into the control chamber when an ABS signal for a rise in pressure follows a drop in pressure.
