    • A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, especially for Diesel engines, which is equipped with a valve needle acted upon in the closing direction by a spring and in the opening direction by the pressure of the fed fuel, to which is coordinated a pressure space formed together with the valve housing and adapted to be closed off against the outside by the valve seat of the valve needle; at least one discharge opening is arranged downstream of the valve seat as viewed in the flow direction which represents a predetermined throttle resistance; the injection valve is additionally equipped with at least two pistons kinematically coupled with one another in one direction of movement whereby a pressure space is formed on each side of the pistons; the pistons, on the inlet side, are adapted to be acted upon at least indirectly by the pressure of the fed fuel and, on the outlet side, at least indirectly by a return spring; an unobstructed connection exists between the outlet side piston pressure space of at least one of the pistons with the pressure space of the valve needle while an unobstructed line connection exists from the space defined by a control edge and the pressure space of the valve needle; the outlet side pressure space of the main injection piston is connected with a reservoir by way of a line having a predetermined throttling effect.

    • A hydraulic injection-adjusting device for high pressure injection installations in auto-igniting internal combustion engines. Oil is supplied to operating chambers of the injection-adjusting device by means of a pressure supply pump with an electrically actuatable regulating valve being provided for controlling the flow of oil to inlet of the operating chambers. An electronic control unit is supplied on an input side which signals corresponding to current engine operating parameters with the control unit yielding on an output side thereof a desired value for the regulating valve to apply pressure in a controlled fashion to the injection-adjusting device. An arrangement is provided for measuring the actual value of the adjustment angle at the injection-adjusting device by constant answer-back line provides a feed of the actual value to the control unit. A control unit, depending on whether the desired value is larger with respect to the actual value or whether the actual value is larger than the desired value, yields a first and second signal of a defined magnitude. A regulating valve is constructed as an electromagnetically operated three-way or three-position valve for regulation of pressure supply, and pressure relief, with the regulating valve being capable of providing a control function when the valve is in a closed position.

    • A choke pin nozzle for diesel engines in which the choke pin is arranged on a nozzle needle. The nozzle needle is axially guided in a fitted bore in a nozzle body and is braced, through a separate spring plate, on a helicoidal compression spring disposed in a spring chamber or cavity of the nozzle. The spring plate is formed as a component of an intermediate piston which is connected on the nozzle side and guided axially with a seal in a portion of the nozzle. An escape or discharge bore is provided in the intermediate nozzle with the bore opening into the spring cavity. The piston is of a smaller diameter than the nozzle needle. The intermediate piston includes a bearing face which is cooperable with an upper sealing surface of the nozzle needle. A guide bore of the intermediate piston is widened in a stroke zone of the bearing face at least to a diameter of the fitted bore in which the nozzle needle is axially guided.

    • An air-compressing fuel injected internal combustion engine which includes a fuel injection pump for supplying predetermined quantities of fuel to the engine in response to a positioning of a control rod. A load lever is operatively connected with an accelerator pedal and a governor is operatively connected to the fuel injection pump for controlling a positioning of the control rod in dependence upon a rotational speed of the engine. An idling spring is operatively connected with the governor for regulating the position thereof and the idling spring is pretensioned as a function of the rotational speed by an independent idling control arrangement so as to control an injection quantity of the fuel by the fuel injection pump in accordance with an actual idling rotational speed of the engine.
