    • A switch core is set forth that comprises a plurality of duplex switches that are interconnected with a interconnection fabric to implement, for example, strictly non-blocking operation of the switch core for reciprocal traffic. In one embodiment, an N-way reciprocal switch is implemented. The N-way reciprocal switch comprises a plurality of duplex switches numbering N of at least a 1×(N−1) switch type (e.g., the duplex switches have at least N−1 ports available for connection to implement the interconnection fabric). The interconnection fabric interconnects the plurality of duplex switches so that each duplex switch is connected to every other duplex switch used in the interconnection fabric by a single connection. A similar an architecture using switches numbering N of at least a 1×N switch type are also set forth. Still further, a plurality of duplex switches are used to implement an (n,m)-way switch that, in turn, can be used to construct a recursive LM-way switch core and/or recursively expand an existing Clos switch core.

    • A method and an apparatus for controlling the rate of pressure applied to an air controlled device. The apparatus includes a flow restrictor, a regulator, and a dome loaded regulator. The regulator is configured to be operatively connected to a pressure source and is set to a first selected pressure. The flow restrictor is arranged to control the rate of applying pressure to the air controlled device after the first pressure is reached. The dome loaded regulator is in communication with the regulator and the flow restrictor such that the regulator and the flow restrictor alternately determine the flow rate from the pressure source to the air controlled device. The method includes setting a predetermined parameter and automatically reducing the rate of applying pressure to the air controlled device after the predetermined parameter is reached.

    • A portable device includes a central processing unit, a vibration sensor to sense vibration of the portable device, an image processing unit to process image data, and a memory unit storing a vibration reduction module. The vibration reduction module includes a vibration signal collecting sub-module to collect a vibration signal of the portable device, a filter sub-module to filter noise of the vibration signal, a vibration offset calculating sub-module to calculate a vibration offset of the portable device according to the filtered vibration signal, a vibration compensation calculating sub-module to calculate a compensation value corresponding to the vibration offset of the portable device, and an image controlling sub-module to control images of the portable device to move a distance which is equal to the compensation value via the image processing unit, to make the images of the portable device keep a fixed position.

    • A security device for an automobile having a floor pan that defines a lower surface of an operators compartment in the automobile. The security mechanism includes a key operated lock assembly that is securely mounted in the floor pan. A first end of the lock assembly is engagable with a manually operated key and is disposed to the interior of the drivers compartment while the second end of the lock assembly is disposed to the exterior of the drivers compartment. The lock assembly includes a locking member which moves between extended and retracted positions in response to manipulation of the key in the lock assembly. In a retracted position, the locking member is disposed to permit normal shifting and conditioning of a shiftable transmission of the automobile. When the key is manually manipulated in the lock assembly to move the locking member to an extended position, the locking member is operably coupled to an endwise moveable controller that conditions the transmission thereby preventing operation of the automobile.
