    • A thermal storage and exchange heating apparatus includes: a thermal storage tank that stores a heated heat medium; a circulation channel connected to high and low temperature sides of the thermal storage tank, and through which the heat medium circulates; a heat exchanger provided to the circulation channel and configured to exchange heat between the heat medium and a heating object, to heat the heating object; a circulation direction switch configured to switch circulation of the heat medium in the circulation channel between a forward direction from the high-temperature side to the low-temperature side and a reversed backward direction; and a controller configured to cause the heat medium to circulate in the forward direction by switching the circulation direction switch in a heating operation and causing the heat medium to circulate in the backward direction by switching the circulation direction switch after a stop of the heating operation.

    • A transmitting circuit is connected to a power line at current flow-in sides to solar battery strings, and a receiving circuit is connected to the power line at current flow-out sides to the solar battery strings. An attenuating circuit connected in series to a bypass diode is provided in a bypass circuit. The transmitting circuit transmits a periodic signal of a predetermined frequency to the power line. The receiving circuit receives via the solar battery strings a transmission signal transmitted from the transmitting circuit to the power line. A determining circuit determines that, when it is detected that an amplitude of a transmission signal received by the receiving circuit is attenuated by a predetermined value or more, direct-current power is conducted to the bypass circuit.

    • A novel and excellently configured washing machine wherein a washing-tub can be rotated by centering on either two rotating-shafts oriented in different directions.A washing machine is provided with an outer-tub (4), a rotatable-support-body (7), an toroidal-rail-part (18) which is rotatable coaxial with a support-body-shaft (8) which is the rotating shaft for the support-body (7), and a washing-tub (13) which is mounted in the inside of the support-body (7) and is rotatably connected to the support-body (7) by washing-tub-shafts (14). Rolling-parts (16, 17) which rotate when the washing-tub (13) rotates using the washing-tub-shafts (14) as the rotating shafts are formed on the exterior surface of the washing-tub (13). The rolling-parts (16, 17) touches the toroidal-rail-part (18) so as to be able to transmit the rotating force. The support-body-shaft (8) is a shaft oriented in a different direction from the washing-tub-shafts (14).
