    • To provide a winker apparatus in which assembly thereof is improved by eliminating the necessity to check biting of the winker cord. A front winker includes a winker holder mountable to a front fork. A winker body is mountable to one side of the winker holder via a winker supporting base. A winker cord is lead from the winker holder via the winker supporting base. The winker holder is formed with a storage groove for accommodating the winker cord. A cover is provided for covering the storage groove so as to retain the winker cord in a state in which the winker cord is stored in the storage groove.

    • A male housing (1) has a hood (5) for receiving a female housing (2) and the female housing (2) has a locking arm (9) for engaging the hood (5) when the housings (1, 2) are fit together. Protection walls (19) are formed on the female housing (2) on opposite sides of the locking arm (9). The protection walls (19) are substantially flush with the hood (5) when the housings (1, 2) are fit together. An operation portion (20) of the locking arm (9) also is substantially flush with the hood (5) when the housings (1, 2) are fit together. A predetermined interval is set between opposed ends of the protection wall (19) and the hood (5) and between the operation portion (20) and the hood (5). Thus, an operator's gloves will not be caught while fitting the male and female housing (1, 2) together.

    • To provide an auto-cruise canceling device for maintaining a good operating response of the vehicle. A DC servo-motor is used as an actuator for regulating a throttle opening during auto-cruising. When a throttle grip is turned during regulation of the throttle opening by the servo-motor, namely, during a cruising state, a turning force transmitted to a throttle drum through a throttle cable causes a variation in the load on the motor. An ECU detects load variations based on the current in the servo-motor. If the load variation is not less than a predetermined value, it is judged that a rider's cruise canceling action has been made, and bias of the servo-motor is stopped, thereby canceling the cruising state.
