    • The object of the present invention is to provide a noise suppressing connector adopting a noise filtering structure which is capable of reducing the manufacturing processes, eliminating the conventional problems (i.e., the occurrence of incomplete connections by soldering the destruction of the aluminum plate, and so on), and thereby improving the quality of the noise filtering structure itself. In order to attain the above object, the noise suppressing connector according to the present invention incorporates a metal casing having one or more terminal insertion holes in the bottom wall thereof and formed with a capacitor section around each of these insertion holes; a pin terminal inserted through the terminal insertion hole and electrically connected to the capacitor section using soldering; and an insulating housing incorporated into to the metal casing, wherein the capacitor section is directly connected to the metal casing. With such a construction, a conventionally adopted alumina plate is made unnecessary, thereby resulting in a reduction in mechanical parts and in the elimination of soldering connections in some parts thereof. Therefore, a reduction in the number of manufacturing processes required is also made possible.

    • The invention improves assembly efficiency by allowing an increased amount of assembly work to be automated. The noise suppressing connector incorporates a capacitor array having a plurality of individual electrodes arranged on the surface of a dielectric material and an earth electrode at the back; a plurality of lead terminals each having input/output portions and an intermediate portion, the intermediate portions being placed in contact with individual electrodes, said intermediate portions and the capacitor array being molded together within an insulating resin; and a metal housing connected with the earth electrode and adapted to accommodate and hold the molded resin block. An earth plate may be interposed between the earth electrode and the metal housing. Solder loading grooves may be provided to the metal housing at positions facing the earth electrode or earth plate to connect the earth electrode or earth plate with the metal housing by solder. This ground connection may also be provided by using earth terminals with a bent portion, which are arranged parallel with the lead terminals to hold the capacitor array between the bent portions and the lead terminals so that the bent portions contact the earth electrode, with the earth terminals soldered to the metal housing.

    • A cable connector for connecting cable conductors (6A) of a flat cable (6) to wire conductors (41A, 42A, 43A) of a plurality of external wires (41, 42, 43), respectively comprises a T-shaped wire mounting plate (30) formed with a plurality of U-shaped grooves (31, 32, 33) and with a pair of guide bridges (34, 35). The U-shaped grooves hold the external wires on a first surface thereof in such a way that the wire conductors of the external wires are arranged being bent at a right angle and further projected from one end surface of the wire mounting plate, respectively. A pair of the guide bridges (34, 35) hold the fiat cable on a second surface thereof opposite to the first surface thereof in such a way that the cable conductors of the flat cable are arranged being projected from the same end surface of the wire mounting plate side by side with the projecting wire conductors of the external wires. After that, the wire conductors of the external wires are soldered to the cable conductors of the flat cable near the same end surface of the wire mounting plate. Further, it is preferable to mold the wire mounting plate with a resin together with the external wires and the flat cable both pressure-fit to the wire mounting plate. The flat cable connector can reduce the cable connection process without need of any jig, being strong against external force.
