摘要： There is provided a network node for detecting a communication device (stealth device) in a local network and identifying a type of the detected communication device. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the network node 200 detects a search message sent out by a stealth device, and sends a response message to the stealth device as if the network node 200 were a target node to be searched for. The network node 200 then receives a request message from the stealth device, and extracts, from the request message, identification information (e.g., a User-Agent header) that corresponds to a type of the stealth device. The identifying unit 208, which may be located inside or outside the network node 200, identifies the type of the stealth device based on the extracted identification information.

摘要： A method and apparatus for enabling remote access to a local gateway (302) of a local network from a remote device (300) located outside the local network. Capabilities and credentials of the remote device and of the local gateway are configured independently in an IMS core (304) for the remote access. One or more users are also authorized for remote access to the local network by adding an IMS identity of each authorized user to an IMS based ACL (Access Control List). An access request to the local gateway from the remote device will be accepted if the IMS identity of the remote device user is present in the IMS based ACL. A remote access connection can then be established by means of the configured capabilities and credentials of the remote device and the local gateway.

摘要： The invention relates to method and device for improving the link configuration speed of high-latency links, such as circuit switched links or satellite links, that use chatty protocols, which require sequential configuration phases, such as standard PPP in accordance with RfC 1661. In the initial link configuration phase, a standard LCP packet is sent out, followed by at least one masked packet that will be discarded silently by a peer operating in accordance with the standard protocol, but whose contents will be processed by a peer operating in accordance with the invention. The initial standard LCP packet produces compatibility with the standard protocol, whereas the sending of masked packets containing configuration information (PAP, CHAP, ICPC, etc.) allows two peers operating in accordance with the invention to accomplish the configuration phases in parallel, such that a link can be configured and ready to transmit network level packets, such as IP packets, much more quickly than with the standard protocol, such as PPP.

摘要： A method and arrangement for remotely controlling the communication of media between devices in different local networks (200, 202) using a remote control device (200b). The remote control device obtains discovery information on a first device (200c) and sends a remote access request over a multimedia service network to a home multimedia gateway (202b) in the opposite local network (202) for a connection to a second device (202c) therein. The home multimedia gateway then responds with communication parameters established for the second device in a residential gateway, and the remote control device can then order the first device to execute a multimedia session with the second device by using said communication parameters. This solution enables a remote control device visiting a local network to order a device in that network to fetch media content from a device in another home network, or vice versa.
