摘要： Systems and methods for implementing Z-buffer generation in a camera are disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment the method may comprise exposing a plurality of pixels on an image capture device to a modulated light signal reflected from different regions of a scene adjacent a camera after different delays. The method may also comprise correlating intensity of the modulated light signal received by the image capture device for each the different delays to determine a flight time of the modulated light signal. The method may also comprise generating a Z-buffer corresponding to the different regions of the scene based on the correlation.

摘要： An initiator is presented for anionically polymerizing monomers, to provide a functional head group on the polymer. A polymer having a functional head group derived from a sulfur containing anionic initiator, and optionally as additional functional group resulting from the use of a functional terminating reagent, coupling agent or linking agent is also provided. A method is presented for anionically polymerizing monomers comprising the step of polymerizing the monomers with a sulfur containing anionic initiator to provide a functional head group on the polymer. An elastomeric compound, comprising a functional polymer and filler is also described. Also provided is a tire having decreased rolling resistance resulting from a tire component containing a vulcanizable elastomeric compound.

摘要： It is difficult to read data from curved helical data tracks in a helical scan tape drive. Curved helical tracks can be caused by improper tape tension, tape damage, tape path misalignment, tape head offset between different head systems, and debris. The present invention solves the problem of recovering data from curved helical tracks by providing a table of different curve offset signals. Each curve offset signal represents a curve track profile of a typical curved track. The position of the helical read head reading a curved data track is controlled as a function of one of the curve offset signals such that the read head is positioned properly with respect to the helical data track to provide a proper read back signal. The curve offset signals are selected one at a time to control the position of the helical read head until the helical read head provides a proper read back signal.
