摘要： An electric charging cord is stored aboard an automotive vehicle using a cord storage unit that has at least one mounting feature. A bracket is positioned on an interior of a movable body closure, such as a hatch-back, and engages the mounting feature to removably attach the storage unit to the panel throughout movement of the body closure between open and closed positions. In a stowed position, the storage unit is held closely adjacent the body closure by a latch. When the body closure is in the raised/open position, the latch is released and the storage unit drops downward and hangs from the bracket where it may easily be removed from engagement with the bracket.

摘要： An improved access and retention system for sedans includes a protective cover for safeguarding a lower peripheral region of a rear cargo region while loading, unloading, and transporting cargo. The protective cover can conveniently and remotely stow within the cargo region. An integral tie-down assembly, exposed by deploying the protective cover, secures cargo loaded in the rear cargo region and cargo placed along the protective cover. The system also includes a double hinging rear closure member which has a rear facing portion which can be locked in open and closed positions. Arranging the rear facing portion in the open position is particularly advantageous for hauling oversized cargo articles which may extend from the rear of the vehicle.

The vehicle has a motor and a lead screw mounted in the side entry door and connected to the motor to be driven by the motor. The vehicle has a link connected to the lead screw and connected to the vehicle body adjacent to the door opening. The motor drives the lead screw to translate the link to open and close the side entry door.

The interconnection of the adjuster link the pedal lever form a virtual ground point (58) so as to form an adjustable ground link with the second ground point. The adjustable ground link allows the first end of the pedal lever (18) to be adjusted between first and second pedal positions.
