摘要： Method for the treatment of fluidized carbon black with gases in a fluidized bed, wherein the carbon black and the treatment gases are conveyed for introduction in an unique operating procedure into the treating region in a countercurrent stream manner. The mass streams of the carbon black and the treating gases are held constant and the mass streams of the starting carbon black or the treated carbon black is regulated with the help of an optical electrical level sensor so that the height of the fluidized bed is held on a predetermined level. An apparatus is shown for the carrying out of the fluidized bed countercurrent process which has a novel carbon black product delivery system and is provided with a optical electrical level sensor means for controlling the level of the fluidized bed. The sensor comprises a hair pin shaped lighting circuit composed of two legs or rods separated by a gap. A light source impinges on the end of one of the said legs and the other leg is oriented to an electrical signal generating light sensor.

摘要： Carbon black is produced in a flow reaction by spraying a hydrocarbon containing liquid feedstock with the aid of a propellant gas into a stream of hot reaction gases produced by burning a fuel, the feedstock-propellant gas-jet enters the reaction zone with a spraying angle that is greater than the spreading angle of a free jet. There is also described an apparatus for carrying out the process which comprises a binary injector supporting an atomizing nozzle whose head has several channels which are adjusted from zero degrees to different angles to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle.

摘要： A continuous process for the successive treatment of finely divided solid materials which are fluidizable at low gas velocities wherein at least two different gases or gas mixtures are utilized and wherein the fluidized bed is held at a constant level in a countercurrent system. The individual gaseous treating materials are conveyed to the different zones of the treatment reactor whereby the cross-section in each zone is chosen so that an essentially constant linear stream velocity of the gas over the total length of treatment is attained whereby the length of the individual successive zones is determined so that in each zone the desired treatment process which is intended to be carried out runs through its desired course.

摘要： An oxidized carbon black (gas black) is prepared within the MCC (medium color channel black) area showing primary particle sizes of an average diameter of 16 to 18 nm and a content of volatiles of at least 15% which, as secondary characteristics, has a specific surface area (BET) of 300 to 420 m.sup.2 /g, an oil absorption (stiff paste) conducted on carbon black powder of 430 to 560 g/100 g, an oil absorption (stiff paste) conducted on carbon black beads of 370 to 450 g/100 g, a pH value of 2 to 5, a nigrometer index of 68 to 72 and a maximum content of volatiles of 25%. The carbon black is used as a pigment in high jet black lacquers.

摘要： A method for the consumption dependent complete vaporization of liquid nitrogen oxide is shown where the liquid nitrogen oxide under pressure is passed through a buffer tank and is charged into a falling film evaporator. The unevaporated residual amount of nitrogen oxide is then subjected to heat in an after evaporator in order to completely vaporize the nitrogen oxide. The combined streams are then led out of the falling film evaporator and after evaporator through at least one safety trap to the ultimate take-off points. This results in the charge of the liquid material to the falling film evaporator being controlled through the pressure in the conduit system between the falling film evaporator and the points of utilization and permits a constant, previously determined pressure to be maintained in the system independently of the amount of material withdrawn.
