    • Disclosed is a hinge for electronic apparatus which is capable of effecting heat dissipation without having to increase the size of the electronic apparatus. Hinges 1A and 1B for electronic apparatus are provided for the purpose of foldably connecting a first portion 2 and a second portion 3 of an electronic apparatus. Each hinge includes a stationary member 11 which has a strength maintaining portion 11a for maintaining mechanical strength and a heat conducting portion 12 for effecting heat conduction and which is provided on the first portion 2, a movable member 17 which has a strength maintaining portion 17a for maintaining mechanical strength and a heat conducting portion 13 for effecting heat conduction and which is provided on the second portion 3, and a joint portion 30 for joining the stationary member 11a and the movable member 17 to each other while effecting heat conduction between the heat conducting portion 11a of the stationary member and the heat conducting portion 13 of the movable member.

    • A machine tool moves a driven member by use of a servomotor. A position control device controls the position of the driven member in accordance with full closed loop control. The position control device computes an integrated feedback value g in correspondence with a function F (VM, PM, Vm, Pm) in which four state amounts, motor speed VM, motor position PM, driven member speed Vm, and driven member position Pm are independent variables. The thrust instruction τ*, which is inputted to the servomotor, is compensated with the integrated feedback value g.     • An apparatus for aiding a machinist in preparing a machining program. A machining simulator simulates a basic machining program. Values of machining variables are obtained during the simulation and stored in a simulation result data memory. A spindle load determiner, a cutting speed determiner, and a rotating speed determiner analyze the machining variable values of a certain machining process to determine the machining efficiency of that process. A navigation information memory stores a plurality of messages for giving advice on how to change the cutting conditions. A message, which depends on the analysis of the machining variable values, is selected from the memory and is shown on a display. Accordingly, an operator can easily modify the basic machining program by following the message on the display, even if the operator does not have much knowledge or experience.
