    • A steering clamper designed for use on a vehicle handlebar connected to a part rotatable about a steering axle coinciding with the center of a steering column. The steering damper comprises an outer housing enclosing a damping-medium-filled main chamber divided into two chambers by a demarcating wing rotatable about a first wing end. The outer face of the wing end rotates in a cutout in the housing. The first wing end is fixed to a first end of a lever which rotates relative to said outer housing. The lever connects, the steering damper rotating with the steering device to the vehicle frame. In the outer housing there is a cavity, the center line of which coincides with the steering axle, designed to accommodate a fastening element which joins the steering damper to the part rotatable about the steering axle.

    • A method of producing a vane damper comprising a body including a space for at least one rotatable vane that divides the space into two part spaces that are located on either side of the vane. The spaces are variable because of the rotatability of the vane. The vane is mounted in the body by a bearing member and operates in a working medium that is located in the space. The working medium is transferable between the variable spaces via a passage or at least one throttle function to produce damping. The method includes producing the vane with associated bearing member by extruding aluminum or aluminum-containing alloy. The extruded product is cut for production of the respective vane with associated bearing member. The vane is provided with sealing members for establishing a seal against surfaces of the space and of the bearing member.

    • A hydraulic device for damping a relative pivotal movement of a motor cycle wheel, which is rotatably journalled at the free end portion of a fork, said fork being pivotably mounted at the frame of the motor cycle. The damping device is of the kind comprising a casing (6) having a sector-shaped hydraulic chamber (11), in which a piston wing (23) is pivotable while being damped by hydraulic fluid. The device is adapted to be mounted adjacent to the fork mounting of the frame of the motor cycle with the casing (6) secured to the fork or to the frame and with a shaft (8), which is connected to the piston wing (23), secured to the frame or the fork, respectively, in coaxial alignment with the pivot axis of the fork.
