摘要： Provided is an apparatus and method for providing an adaptive broadcasting service using classification schemes for Usage Environment Description (UED). The adaptive broadcasting service providing apparatus using UED classification scheme (CS) to provide a targeting function for selecting an Audio video (AV) program, a package or components of the package based on a consumption environment and user preference, in an adaptive broadcasting system for providing broadcasting contents including AV programs and packages to a user terminal, includes: a contents providing means for publishing and providing the broadcasting contents and metadata including the UED CS to the user terminal; and a contents searching means for providing contents identification information corresponding to a search and selection signal inputted from the user terminal, wherein the UED CS is a kind of metadata describing a contents consumption environment in order that the user terminal can select contents which fit to user's environment and preference.

摘要： Provided is an adaptive broadcasting service providing apparatus using UED information including biographic information and terminal information. The apparatus can provide a targeting function for selecting AV program, package or components of the package based on a user consumption environment and preference by defining biographic information and terminal information for describing characteristic information for personal biographic information and terminal information, and adding the biographic information and terminal information to the UED information. The apparatus includes: a contents providing unit for publishing and providing the broadcasting contents and metadata including the UED information to the user terminal; and a contents searching unit for providing contents identification information upon a search and selection signal from the user terminal, wherein the UED information describes a consumption environment of the contents and includes: biographic information for describing characteristics of user's biographic information; and terminal information for describing characteristic information of the user terminal.

摘要： Provided is a method and system for prohibiting a predetermined advertisement (ad) combination from being reproduced together within a predetermined period. The method includes: a) analyzing metadata including a prohibited combination period element for providing prohibited combination period information for prohibiting a combination of a first ad and a second ad and a condition element for providing condition information including characteristics information of the second ad; b) checking whether the second ad satisfying the condition is reproduced in the prohibited combination period; and c) when the second ad is not reproduced, reproducing the first ad and blocking the second ad from being reproduced during the prohibited combination period. When the second ad is reproduced, the first ad is not reproduced. The technology of the present invention can prohibits a predetermined combination of ads in an environment where ads can be substituted in a digital broadcasting receiving apparatus .

摘要： The present invention relates to component identification method using an instance metadata identifier with a contents reference identifier (CRID) and a targeting method using the same. The present invention is a method for identifying components having identical contents and different bit expressions by assigning an identical CRID to each of the components, assigning different instance metadata identifiers to each of the components and using the instance metadata identifiers with the CRID. Also, the present invention is a method for, identifying components having identical contents, identical bit expressions and different locations by assigning different instance metadata identifiers to each of the components and listing the instance metadata identifiers 1, in a package metadata having corresponding condition of an intended targeting. Accordingly, the present invention provides effective targeting by automatically matching characteristics described in a package to a usage environment.

摘要： Provided is a method for providing advertisements (ads) in diverse forms based on the type of an ad in a personalized broadcasting environment, and a system thereof, The method includes the steps of: a) analyzing metadata including a descriptor for defining relationship between an ad and a broadcasting program; b) determining the type of the ad among a normal ad type, a telescoped ad type, and a speedbump ad type based on relationship description used for the descriptor; and c) providing the ad based on the determined ad type. The technology of the present invention makes a user watch ads in diverse forms by adopting a “HowRelated” descriptor which defines the relationship between a broadcasting program and an ad and includes several types of relationship description to thereby inform a user of the location and the type of the ad.

The apparatus and method of the present invention expresses diverse query types in MPEG-7 query formats and uses field types to re use a designated region. The apparatus for expressing a query inputted from a user for multimedia data search includes: an input means for receiving a query for multimedia data search from a user; and a query expression means for expressing the input query in a field type, wherein the field type includes at least one among identifier information indicating identification (ID) information of a field presenting a search condition included in the input query; type information indicating data type information of the field; and reference information indicating identifier information of another field for reference. The present invention is applied to MPEG-7 query formats.

The BGA package board includes a first external layer on which a pattern comprising a circuit pattern and a wire bonding pad pattern is formed, a second external layer on which a pattern comprising a circuit pattern and a solder ball pad pattern is formed, an insulating layer formed between the first and second external layers, a first outer via hole to electrically connect the first and second external layers to each other, and a solder resist layer formed on each of the first and second external layers, with portions of the solder resist layer corresponding to the wire bonding pad pattern and the solder ball pad pattern being opened. The solder ball pad pattern is thinner than the circuit pattern of the second external layer.
