摘要： An image-forming system prevents a print overrun error even if there are bands of divided data having different band heights. An image-forming system has a band divider to divide image data into a plurality of bands each containing divided image date, a loader to load the bands into a band memory, and an output unit to sequentially output the bands from the band memory to a print engine at predetermined timing. The band divider can change the height of at least one of the bands from the height of the remaining bands. The band memory includes VRAMs into which a band of bitmap data whose band height is higher than a threshold is loaded and an auxiliary VRAM (VRAM-special) into which a band of bitmap data whose height has been changed.

摘要： In an image forming device, images of originals up to an upper limit number of stapling are read (S1 to S5) and image data thereof are processed (S6 to S8). If a paper sensor has detected a subsequent original even when the number of pages of the read images reaches NS0 (S1, S2), a finisher discharges a bundle of printed papers without stapling. Consequently, the number of the printed papers included in the discharged bundle is made less than the upper limit number. In a case where the number of the printed papers sent to the finisher (S12, S13) is less than a set number NS1 (S15), the bundle is discharged without being stapled after the number of the printed papers reaches NS1 (S17).

摘要： An image forming device having a printing unit, an intermediate tray, and a stapler fixed at a predetermined position, which stacks printed paper printed by the printing unit in the intermediate tray after either a face-down process or a face-up process when performing a normal operation and staples the printed paper when a number of sheets thereof reaches a predetermined number, the image forming device includes: an input unit allowing input of a choice of the face-down process or the face-up process and a choice of one-side printing or two-side printing; and a control unit controlling the image forming device so as to stack the printed paper in the intermediate tray after the printing unit performs two-side printing if a process selected using the input unit is different from one which is performed in the normal operation.

摘要： The present invention is to provide an image forming apparatus in which when a predetermined trigger condition occurs a calibration process is performed by user selection, and a calibration processing method and a calibration processing program product for the image forming apparatus. An image forming apparatus is provided in which a control means performs a calibration process in an image forming means under a predetermined trigger condition. When the predetermined trigger condition occurs during the execution of a print job, the control means interrupts the execution of the print job and allows an operation panel to display an error. When the performance of a calibration process is selected, the control means performs a calibration process and then re-executes the interrupted print job. Alternatively, when the continuation of the execution of the print job is selected, the control means re-executes the interrupted print job without performing a calibration process.
