摘要： A hybrid construction machine is capable of performing satisfactory operations even when trouble occurs that disables the electric motor from outputting torque. The hybrid construction has both a hydraulic motor and an electric motor driving the swing structure and a controller for switching between a hydraulic/electric hybrid swing mode (using both the hydraulic motor and the electric motor) and a hydraulic-alone swing mode (using only the hydraulic motor). The switching is executed while achieving satisfactory operability and performance in each mode. Normally, an energy saving operation is performed in the hydraulic/electric hybrid swing mode. When the electric amount of an electricity storage device has gone out of a prescribed range or an abnormality has occurred in an electric system (e.g., failure of an inverter), the swing mode is switched to the hydraulic-alone swing mode so that driving with normal braking torque is possible by the hydraulic motor alone.

摘要： A fuel-efficient hydraulic fluid has a lower viscosity than a standard hydraulic fluid, a pressure loss decreases, and thus, when control based on a standard model is exercised, the speeds of various actuators increase. However, the speeds need not be increased beyond the speeds of the standard model. Instead, it is preferred that fuel efficiency be improved. As a result, an engine revolution speed decreases by 50 rpm and a pump torque decreases by 5%. This reduces an engine output. Therefore, when a hydraulic fluid is changed from the standard hydraulic fluid to the fuel-efficient hydraulic fluid, the fuel efficiency can be improved while maintaining operability equivalent to that of the standard model. Hence, the fuel efficiency can be improved while maintaining the operability when an item affecting the fuel consumption is replaced. In addition, the settings can be changed with ease by a service technician.

摘要： A hybrid construction machine drives the upper swing structure using a hydraulic motor and an electric motor together and is capable of regenerating the energy of the upper swing structure in deceleration or stopping into electric power and using the regenerated electric power for assisting the hydraulic motor for driving the upper swing structure. The opening area characteristics of a meter-out restrictor and a bleed-off restrictor of a swing directional control valve are set to become larger than for construction machines driving the upper swing structure with the hydraulic motor alone. Torque of the electric motor is controlled so that the total sum of the actual torque occurring in the hydraulic and electric motors in deceleration or acceleration of the hydraulic motor equals the torque occurring when the opening area of the meter-out restrictor or the bleed-off restrictor is set at the prescribed opening area.

A hydraulic drive device for a hydraulic excavator includes: a bucket directional control valve and a second arm directional control valve, which are connected in parallel tandem with a first hydraulic pump; a first arm directional control valve that is connected to a second hydraulic pump; and a flow rate restriction device that restricts the flow rate of pressure oil supplied to the second arm directional control valve, during crowd operation of a bucket. This flow rate restriction device includes a variable throttle whose opening is controlled so as to become smaller as a bucket operating device is operated to the crowd side, the variable throttle being provided in a bypass path connecting to the supply port of the second arm directional control valve.

摘要： On the basis of reference torque and torque correction amount output units (T1 and T2), a torque control command pressure is calculated so that the input torques of first and second pumps are increased. The calculated torque command instruction pressure is then supplied as external command pressure to the varying mechanism of a regulator used for the first and second pumps so as to prevent the input torques of the first and second pumps from being decreased more than necessary. As a result, even when three variable displacement hydraulic pumps are used with the discharge pressure of one of the hydraulic pumps reduced by a pressure reducing valve and further the input torques of the other two hydraulic pumps are decreased by that pressure, the engine output can be efficiently utilized, and the work rate does not decrease.
