摘要： This invention optimizes the settings of refrigeration components to achieve a power efficient state. First, the compressor is run at a level that achieves a desired temperature. Next, the invention searches for the most energy efficient settings (claimed as operation manipulation amounts) for the fans and indoor expansion valves. The search algorithm tries adjusting the settings of each component by a predetermined amount, adopting the setting that is the most energy efficient for the refrigeration cycle. The algorithm then increases or decreases the predetermined amount, as appropriate, and repeats the search. This allows the invention to quickly and accurately converge on the most energy efficient setting for each component.

The stagnation-resolving operation includes stagnation suppression control in which the target evaporating temperature is reduced within a range in which an evaporator does not freeze so as to increase a refrigerant circulation volume in the condenser, and stagnation-avoidance priority control which is implemented when implementation of the stagnation suppression control is not able to resolve stagnation, and in which an opening degree of an expansion valve is controlled to be opened and the target evaporating temperature is further reduced so as to further increase the refrigerant circulation volume.

The system includes a controller ordering a power-assist actuator to reduced the steering angular deviation of a steering wheel to zero when the controller receives a zero-level signal from a steering torque sensor and non-zero-level signal from a steering angular deviation sensor. The method for the system includes a step of controlling the power-assist actuator to generate a return-assist force counteracting the resistance and variable according to vehicle conditions.

The air-conditioner according to the present invention has a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, an oil separator, a heat source side heat exchanger, a throttle device, and a use side heat exchanger are connected in series, an oil returning circuit that connects the oil separator with the suction side of the compressor, and a decompression mechanism provided in the oil return circuit. The oil return circuit is installed by piping so as to exchange heat with a part of the heat source side heat exchanger at the upstream side of the decompression mechanism.

The system can also act as a manual steering system in the event of failure of an electrical motor. The system includes a steering gear with a shaft rotated manually via a steering shaft, a worm driven by the electrical motor operating in response to rotation of the steering shaft, and a worm wheel fixed to the steering gear shaft and meshing with the worm. The lead angle of the worm is selected to be larger than the friction angle between the worm and the worm wheel so that the worm wheel can drive the worm freely if the motor should fail.
