摘要： The invention relates to an improved method for the preparation of a 2',6'-dialkyl-N-alkoxymethyl-2-chloro-acetanilide compound of the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are identical or different and stand for straight-chained or branched C.sub.1-4 alkyl groups.According to the invention a dialkyl aniline of the general formula (II), ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined above, is treated with aqueous formaldehyde solution in an apolar solvent at a temperature of 30.degree. to 80.degree. C., the solution of the resulting oxymethyl derivative formed with said apolar solvent is separated from the aqueous formaldehyde solution at an elevated temperature and then dehydrated, the resulting azomethine derivative is reacted with chloroacetyl chloride in the same apolar solvent medium, the resulting chloromethyl compound is reacted with an alcohol of the general formula (V),R.sub.3 -OH (V)wherein R.sub.3 is as defined above, in an amount sufficient to bind the hydrochloric acid liberated in the reaction, the reaction mixture is admixed with water, and the organic phase containing the required end-product is separated and optionally processed.

摘要： Soil conditioning compositions in which the active component is a reactive tenside being (a) condensation products, having a molecular weight under 15,000, of one or more of (i) ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, propylenediamine, dipropylenediamine, guanidine, dicyandiamide, N-aminoethyl alkylamines, N-aminoethyl alkyleneamines, N-aminoethyl alkyldienamines, N-aminopropyl alkylamines, N-aminopropyl alkyleneamines, N-aminopropyl alk-dien-ylamines, imidazoline, imidazole, 1-aminoethyl-imidazoline, 1-aminoethyl-2-alkyl-2-imidazoline, and 1-aminoethyl-2-alkyl-2-imidazoline, and 1-aminoethyl-2-alkylene-2-imidazoline, with one or more of (ii) formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, C.sub.2-6 dihalogenealkanes; (b) alkyl- or alkylcarboxyamide end group-containing derivatives of reactions between the components of (a) which are partially or totally alkylated with C.sub.1-2 chain compounds having a molecular weight under 15,000, and (c) water-soluble condensation products of urea with formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, or dihalogenealkanes, and (d) acid addition salts of (a), (b), and (c). Process for using these reactive tenside-containing compositions involve applying the compositions to the soil.
