摘要： In a remote control system to control remotely a controlled device through a network from a terminal at a remote place, the controlled device stores a channel table associating broadcast station numbers recognized by a remote control device and allocated to each broadcast station with channel numbers recognized by the controlled device and allocated to each broadcast station. This allows channel numbers to be designated remotely according to an area, even though a relation between broadcast station numbers and channel numbers is different depending on an area. The remote controller can read the channel table of the controlled device and correct the channel table according to user's operation on the terminal.

Device unique data which is information specific to the controlled device is stored in the remote control device or the controlled device. The remote control device generates WEB display data to be displayed on the remote terminal based on a device type of the controlled device and the device unique data. Alternatively, the remote control device generates WEB display data based on the device unique data stored in the controlled device. Thus, even when a new type of controlled device is developed, or even when the function for the controlled device is extended, it does not need to modify programs for achieving functions of the remote control device. Accordingly, it facilitates a change of an operational screen of the terminal in response to those changes.

摘要： A cold cathode fluorescent lamp includes a glass bulb (16), a protective film (22) formed on an inner face of the glass bulb, and a phosphor layer (24) that overlaps the protective film and that contains blue phosphor particles (26B), green phosphor particles (26) and red phosphor particles (26). The glass bulb has been formed from soda glass, and the blue phosphor particles have been coated with a metal oxide (30). Also, the protective film is made of silica (SiO2). Since the protective film has been provided in the fluorescent lamp and since the blue phosphor particles, which readily deteriorate, have been coated with the metal oxide, a good luminance maintenance rate is obtained. In addition, although the glass bulb of the fluorescent lamp is made of soda glass, since the protective film is made of silica, the fluorescent lamp obtains an initial luminance equivalent to the initial luminance of a fluorescent lamp whose glass bulb is made of borosilicate glass.
