    • A stabilization method of a vinyl compound with hydroxy group of an improved stability is achieved by preventing it from being denatured on storage, transportation, manufacturing process while maintaining its reactivity. A composition containing the vinyl compound with hydroxy group of an improved stability is obtained by the described stabilization method. The stabilization method is characterized by coexisting a vinyl compound with hydroxy group of formula (1), a primary antioxidant, alcohol and/or water, ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrogen atom or an organic residue, X is a --CN group, a --COR.sub.0 group or a --COOR.sub.0 group, and R.sub.0 is a hydrogen atom or an organic residue. In this stabilization method, not less than 50 ppm of alcohol and/or water is added with respect to the vinyl compound with hydroxy group. The stabilization method may be achieved by coexisting the above-defined vinyl compound with hydroxy group, the primary antioxidant and organic acid. In this case, not less than 10 ppm of organic acid is added to the vinyl compound with hydroxy group.

    • An acrylic ester derivative expressed by Formula (1) below is produced by reacting an acrylic ester expressed by Formula (2) below with a saccharide containing a hemiacetal hydroxyl group expressed by Formula (3) below and/or an alkylglycoside expressed by Formula (4) below: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or organic residue, R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, counter ion, or organic residue, and G represents a saccharic residue; ##STR2## where R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or organic residue and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a counter ion, or organic residue; G--H (3) where G represents a saccharic residue; and G--R.sub.3 (4) where G represents a saccharic residue and R.sub.3 represents an organic residue. An acrylic-ester-based polymer is produced by letting a monomeric component containing such an acrylic ester derivative undergo polymerization. The resulting acrylic-ester-based polymer renders excellent hydrophilic property, biodegrability, and bioadaptability, and therefore, can be preferably used as a surface finishing agent, a medical material, a water absorptive resin, a surfactant, etc.

    • An integrated circuit designing apparatus for designing a semiconductor integrated circuit. The designing includes verifying the timing based on delay information included in the design data, the delay information is extracted from results of placing and wiring of the semiconductor integrated circuit; determining whether each value of hold-time errors generated as a result of the timing verification is smaller than a criteria value; extracting, when the value of a hold-time error is smaller than the criteria value, a wiring line in which the hold-time error is improved by performing a wiring line extension process, the wiring line is included in a path having the hold-time error; calculating, for the extracted wiring line, a wiring line extension distance corresponding to an insertion delay value that improves the hold-time error; and performing the wiring line extension process to extend the extracted wiring line by the calculated wiring line extension distance.
