A first side cheek of the roller conveyor train has a support plate disposed inside of the first side cheek. The support plate is attached from the outside to the first side cheek. The first side cheek rests on the support plate attached from the outside and supports the first axle for the roller to run on. The support roller protrudes with its first axial end through a first receiver openings in a web of the first side cheek. The first axle rests disengagable on the first side cheek.

    • An apparatus for the emptying of containers is disposed in the course of a conveyor way for containers loaded with piece goods, in particular with luggage pieces. A branch conveyor for receiving discharged piece goods is following to the emptying apparatus. The emptying apparatus is furnished with support rollers and guide elements for the containers and a tipping device with a swivel drive for the swiveling of the containers perpendicular to the transport advance direction (F) of the conveyor way in direction toward the branch conveyor. In order to obtain an emptying of the container during the transport motion based on a constructively simple structure of the apparatus, the container (3) is essentially constructed to comprise a part (4), formed by a shell-shaped floor (8) for receiving the piece goods (5) and a lower part (6). The lower part (6) includes essentially a planar support face (10) and a member for the transfer of the drive forces of the drive rollers (13) and of the tipping forces of the guide elements (15, 115) to the planar support face (10).

    • An actuator includes a housing and a stationary, annular magnet coil to which a reversible direct current can be supplied. A displacement member which partially surrounds the magnet coil is mounted within the housing so as to be linearly moveable. A first pair of permanent magnets is mounted in the displacement member so as to cover a portion of the coil, wherein the north pole is located above the coil and the south pole is located below the coil. A second pair of permanent magnets is also mounted in the displacement member so as to cover a portion of the magnet coil. The second pair of permanent magnets is arranged diametrically opposite the first pair relative to the magnet coil and the south pole of the second pair is arranged above the magnet coil and the north pole below the magnet coil. Thus, when the magnet coil is excited, the displacement member linearly moves within the housing relative to the stationary coil. At least one connecting piece is attached to the displacement member so as to extend out of the housing.

    • A traveling mechanism for a lifting device, especially for a lifting device having a laterally cantilevering boom, is movable on rails with at least two running wheels. A connection element for attaching a load to said traveling mechanism is supported in the rail by the running wheels which are arranged on both sides of the connection element. The connection element has, at the region projecting down out of the rail, at least one running roller which is freely rotatable about a horizontal axis and rolls on a horizontal outer running surface of the rail. To effectively divert horizontal forces and uniformly distribute the vertical forces to the running wheels, running wheel axles are rigidly connected with a running wheel carrier, and the running wheel carrier and connection element are swivelably connected by a universal type joint. In addition, at least one support roller is rotatably mounted at the connection element in the interior of the rail. The support roller freely rotates about a vertical axis and rolls along at least one of the side surfaces to transmit horizontal forces to the rail.

    • The invention is directed to a multi-tier parking facility system for depositing and removing vehicles, particularly passenger automobiles. The facility includes parking devices which are arranged in a plurality of levels in corresponding parking spaces. Each parking device has plural comb-like carrying arms for receiving the vehicles. A tier conveyor is vertically movable between drive-in and drive-out areas for receiving and discharging the vehicle at a selected level. The tier conveyor includes a transfer device having comb-like carrying arms. The transfer device includes a lifting device for transferring the vehicles to and from the parking device respectively. The parking devices are horizontally movable on parking rails arranged in the parking space and on travel rails arranged on the tier conveyor. The parking devices are pulled out of and pushed into the parking spaces or boxes by a hauling device which is arranged at the tier conveyor.
