摘要： A multichannel scanning apparatus and method for a DMB-enabled mobile phone that are capable of simultaneously displaying multiple images received through different service channels of satellite and terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting systems is provided. A multichannel scanning method of the present invention includes determining functionalities of first and second broadcast systems; setting multi picture presentation function for displaying at least two broadcast channels of the first and second broadcast systems on a screen; and simultaneously displaying one of the broadcast channel as a main channel picture and at least one of the broadcast channels excluding the main channel as a sub channel picture.

The camera-enabled portable terminal includes a camera module for capturing one or more images of an object; a display unit for displaying a frame partitioned into a preset number of windows in the multi-image photographing mode, each window being in any of a blank status, a preview status, and a filled-out status; a video processing unit for processing the image taken by the camera module to be fit to one or more of the windows; and a control unit for controlling the camera module, video processing unit, and the display unit such that the frame is displayed on the display unit together with information on the status of the windows.

摘要： A method and apparatus for setting a playlist for content files stored in a mobile terminal that can reduce initial execution time associated with the content files by generating the playlist using header information extracted from the content files are provided. A specific content file is stored in a first memory unit and header information is extracted from the stored content file. A playlist is generated using the header information and the playlist is stored in a second memory unit. The playlist stored in the second memory unit is read when a command to execute the content file is received and the content file is executed. The method facilitates the execution of a content file without having to read header information and thus reduces the initial execution time associated therewith by generating the playlist using the header information for a packet in the content file before execution.
