摘要： An apparatus for supporting a work piece is provided. The apparatus includes outer support rails having support slots for supporting the work piece, the outer support rails disposed on opposing sides of the apparatus between opposing end members of the apparatus. Inner support rails extend between the opposing end members of the apparatus. An inner surface of each of the inner support rails has vertically disposed extensions extending therefrom. The vertically disposed extensions are aligned in pairs along a length of the inner support rails. A moveable device is disposed between the pairs of vertically disposed extensions. The moveable device is buoyantly moveable so that as the work piece is lifted, the moveable device follows. A method for cleaning a work piece is also included.

摘要： A lighted display features a decorative mounting board having an outer display surface and a rear surface. A string of lights has a plurality of bulb sockets which mount bulbs in their openings and are interconnected by electrical wiring. The bulb lighting portions each have a diameter smaller than the diameter of a socket. A plurality of apertures are arranged in a predetermined decorative pattern on the board. Each aperture is sized to enable insertion of a bulb lighting portion, but presents a barrier preventing reception of a socket. The perimeter of surrounding board material provides a resilient edge which grips the bulb lighting portions. The string of lights is mounted to the board by inserting the bulb lighting portions into said apertures from the rear surface until the sockets engage the aperture perimeters. Upon illumination, the lighted string of lights provides an illuminated outline of the predetermined pattern defined by the apertures, which may be informative, as with words, or a decorative, such as a figure. The lights are easily inserted and removed for selective use in a plurality of such displays.

摘要： A suspended automation system includes a rail array secured to a ceiling. A gantry moves in an X-Y plane defined by the rail array with a drive mechanism. A controller with a human user interface allows for selective movement of the gantry to transport, and in some instances store or manipulate articles. A motorized rotating platform and one or more of a robotic arm, a camera, or a counter-balance are added to the platform to facilitate storage and manipulation, as well as actions in the area below the ceiling. A rail array in some embodiments is equipped with storage modules located above the rail array that can take a variety of shapes, sizes, and configurations for storage of an article, including a stack. A related process of article movement can be accomplished by the suspended automation system. Another related process is overhead storage and selective delivery of an article.
