    • An intervertebral support device may include upper and lower vertebral mounting fixtures to be respectively connected to an upper and a lower vertebra in a patient's spine. The device may further include a bias member for urging the upper and lower vertebral mounting fixtures together, and a bias adjuster connected to the bias member maintained in tension for adjusting the tension thereof. The bias adjuster advantageously allows a spinal surgeon installing the intervertebral support device to adjust the tension of the bias member during installation, as well as to re-adjust the tension post-operatively during follow-up visits to modify a patient's intervertebral mobility as needed.

    • A selective filtering collection and delivery system for collecting and delivering autogenous bone to and from a surgical site is provided. The selective filtering collection device includes a suction nozzle, suction nozzle assembly and a vacuum source. Disposed in parallel between the suction nozzle assembly and the vacuum source are a removable filter cartridge and a filter bypass tube. A switch on the suction nozzle assembly may be actuated to provide suction to the suction nozzle through either the bypass tube or through the filter cartridge. When suction is applied through the filter cartridge, autogenous bone is collected on a filter medium within the cartridge. Additionally, the cartridge may be removed and directly placed into a delivery device. The delivery device includes a ratchet system that actuates a plunger base to accurately extrude the bone material from the filter cartridge into the desired surgical location.

    • An air conditioning system may include an indoor heat exchanger to be positioned within a building including a refrigerant for exchanging heat with air inside the building, and a outdoor unit to be positioned outside of the building. The outdoor unit may include a housing and an outdoor heat exchanger carried by the housing. The outdoor heat exchanger may be connected in fluid communication with the indoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between air outside the building and the refrigerant, which may be circulated by a compressor. The system may also include a liquid washdown dispenser carried by the housing adjacent the outdoor heat exchanger. In particular, the liquid washdown dispenser may be connected to a liquid dispensing source for dispensing liquid (e.g., fresh water) to wash down the outdoor heat exchanger. A controller may also be included for controlling liquid flow to the liquid washdown dispenser.
