摘要： An improved control apparatus includes an auto-choke for an engine provided by interlocking a choke lever and a throttle lever of a carburetor by way of a temperature-sensitive interlocking rod. The choke lever of the carburetor is provided with a spring for resiliently biasing the choke valve toward its open position. The interlocking rod is made of high molecular material such as high molecular urethane elastomer or the like and has a buckling threshold which varies in dependence upon the temperature. Upon fully opening the throttle valve when the engine is cold, the interlocking rod acts so as to close the choke. Whereas, when the throttle valve is opened when the engine is hot the interlocking rod acts to open the choke under the biasing force of the spring. A speed regulating device is connected to the throttle lever.

摘要： A foamed resin product having shape-formable properties, a method of using the same and a cushion material that is to be worn by the human body are provided. The foamed resin product (a flexible polyurethane foam, etc.) has a glass transition temperature, expressed as the temperature of the loss tangent peak, of 10° C. to 35° C., a loss tangent within this temperature range of 0.20 to 0.80, and, with respect to the storage elastic modulus (G′) within this temperature range, the ratio (G′max/G′min) of maximum value (G′max) to minimum value (G′min) of 3.0 to 30. The using method thereof has attaching a molded article made of the foamed resin product to the surface of the human body, and lowering the hardness of the molded article due to the heat transferred from the human body so as to deform the molded article by allowing to follow-up the shape of the body.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to completely cure a resin composition highly capable of screening energy radiation, such as a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material (CFRP), simply by exposing the resin composition to UV radiation in the presence of a specific photopolymerization initiator system (reaction catalyst system) comprising at least two components. To this end, the present invention provides a resin curing method wherein, when a resin composition is exposed to energy radiation typified by UV radiation, another kind of first energy than the energy from an energy radiation source is autogenously generated within the resin, and the same kind of second energy is successively generated by the autogenously generated energy, so that the resin composition is cured by means of the first and second energies, or both the first and second energies and the energy from the energy radiation source, whether or not the resin composition contains a substance capable of screening energy radiation.

The shape memory polymer used is a polyurethane that is obtained by polymerizing with the prepolymer method a composition of a bifunctional diisocyanate, a bifunctional polyol, and a bifunctional chain extender with active hydrogen groups in the mole ratio of diisocyanate:polyol:chain extender=2.00-1.10:1.00:1.00-0.10. The polyurethane is preferred to have approximately equal amounts of NCO groups and OH groups at its ends, and a glass transition point above the human body temperature, and a crystallinity value between 3 to 50 wt %.

摘要： A photosensitive polyimide resin precursor composition capable of providing a polyimide resin that is not substantially colored, is transparent and has heat resistance, an optical polyimide resin obtained from the composition, and an optical waveguide using the polyimide resin. The photosensitive polyimide resin precursor composition contains (a) 100 parts by weight of a polyamic acid obtained from a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and a diamine, (b) 0.01 parts by weight or more and less than 5 parts by weight of a 1,4-dihydropyridine derivative, (c) 5–50 parts by weight of a glycol (ether). The optical polyimide resin is obtained by irradiating the photosensitive resin precursor composition with UV light, followed by exposure, heating, development, and then heating. The optical waveguide comprises a core layer comprising the optical polyimide resin, and a cladding layer thereof.
