    • An engine (10) equipped with a generator (20) is provided. The stator (24) fixed to the crankcase (12) includes a plurality of iron cores (32a to 32l) arranged in the circumferential direction about the crankshaft (16), and coils (33) that are wrapped around the plurality of iron cores (32a to 32l). The rotor (42) includes a flywheel (25) that is fastened to the crankshaft (16) by a fixing mechanism (28), and a plurality of permanent magnets (26a to 26f) fixed to the flywheel. The fixing mechanism (28) mounts the flywheel (25) on the crankshaft (16) in a position in which the center of one permanent magnet (26a) among the plurality of permanent magnets (26) coincides with the center point between two mutually adjacent iron cores (32a and 32b) among the plurality of iron cores (32a to 32l) when the piston is at the top-dead-center or the bottom-dead-center.

    • Oil level detecting switch, which detects an amount of lubricant oil stored in an oil pan, includes: a switch case having through-holes to permit entry and discharge of oil into and out of the switch case; a float of a spherical shape having smaller specific gravity than the oil and conductive outer surface and provided within the switch case for vertical movement in response to increase/decrease of the oil; and a plurality of fixed contacts provided on the bottom surface of the switch case such that the fixed contacts are placed in a conducting state by the float contacting the fixed contacts.

    • In an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, the primary coil and the secondary coil of the coil unit are fabricated of self-welding wire and fixed in a coil case by an elastic material and an ignition control circuit unit is fixed in the coil case by an elastic material. Similarly, the primary coil and the secondary coil are integrally joined by an adhesive. The terminal of the primary coil and the lead of the ignition control circuit unit are joined together by fusion and the joint is partially molded, while the terminal of the secondary coil and the terminal of a high-tension cord outlet are joined together by fusing and the joint is partially molded. Moreover, the coil case is provided with an inner cap such that the fusing and partial molding of the terminals can be conducted on the inner cap, thereby ensuring a high recycle rate and enabling efficient resource recovery and reuse.
