The placing unit is configured and arranged to accumulate the articles sequentially delivered from the delivery unit to form the batch of the articles in a prescribed accumulation form. The control unit is configured to change a delivery interval in which each of the articles is sequentially delivered to the placing unit according to the prescribed accumulation form.
