    • A method for analyzing an objective substance, comprising reacting a labeled probe with an objective substance on a biological sample, said probe comprising a label substance of the formula (I): wherein A1 is an aromatic group, R1 is a hydrogen or —COCH2COCnF2n+1 and n is an integer of 1-6, which is bonded to a probe selected from the group consisting of nucleic acid, nucleic acid binding protein, low molecular ligand and receptor for ligand (except antibody) to give a fluorescent complex, reacting the complex with an objective substance on a biological sample and assaying fluorescence of the resultant fluorescent complex, a labeled nucleic acid probe and a labeled nucleotide. According to the method of the present invention, defects such as hindrance of fluorescence due to contaminant substance, low sensitivity and the like can be resolved, thereby enabling analysis on a tissue.

    • An electric noise absorber comprising at least two ferrite pieces having abutting planes, at least two case members containing the ferrite pieces respectively and being closed by means of engagement members, and a spring member provided in at least one of the case members for pressing the ferrite pieces against each other when the case members are closed. Since the case members for keeping the ferrite pieces in appropriate positions and the spring member for pushing up the ferrite pieces for close contact are separately molded, the case members are bestowed with strength and the spring member with elasticity, both suitable for their own purposes. The case members requires no apertures for biasing members and therefore outside magnetic substance is prevented from contacting with the ferrite pieces contained in the case members.

    • A bridge and means for mounting the rear end of each of a plurality of strings on said bridge, the bridge including a plurality of saddles to which strings are individually attached wherein each saddle is adjustable longitudinally of the string in order to vary the effective length of the string for harmonious tuning and the saddle is adjustable without varying the effective length of the string in order to provide a fine tuning variation in tension for pitch. The invention relates to the specific means of mounting the end of the string on its individual saddle of the bridge wherein a substantially tubular member is provided with a groove extending downwardly, substantially normal to the body of the instrument to which the bridge is secured. The string passes through said groove and a bead on the end of the string initially anchors the string with respect to the groove. The string is anchored with respect to the saddle by a clamping jaw bearing against the string and a bearing surface in the saddle moved into tight engagement by a screw. The string and its bearing surface extends on one side of the screw which effects the clamping operation and the adjustments for tension and effective length extend on the opposite side of the screw.
