    • An electromagnetic relay includes a spool, a coil wound on the spool, an armature inserted in the through hole of the spool, a yoke fixed to the spool by fitting, hinge springs, a movable spring, a hinge spring fixing portion, an attaching/fixing portion, and at least one terminal. The armature operates upon excitation of the coil. The yoke has first and second opposing upright portions. One end of the armature is in contact with an end face of the first upright portion, and the other end thereof opposes the end face of the second upright portion. The hinge springs set the armature at a predetermined angle with respect to the yoke, and urge one end of the armature against the end face of the first upright portion to ensure magnetic connection. The movable spring has a movable contact and extends from one side of the hinge springs. The movable spring is connected to the armature. The hinge spring fixing portion extends from the ends side of the hinge springs that are not connected to the movable spring, to support them and the movable spring. The attaching/fixing portion attaches and fixes the hinge spring fixing portion on the first upright portion by a single operation. The terminal member is fixed to one end portion of the spool by press fitting and has a stationary contact adjacent to the movable contact.

    • An electromagnetic relay is provided which is small in size and is capable of controlling two circuits of an ordinarily-open contact, which has a large current-carrying capacity and high interrupting capability, and which is excellent in resistance against shock and vibration. Movable contactors are held, through bow-shaped movable contactor springs, to two -shaped holding frames each being electrically separated and being mechanically connected via a card made of a highly heat-resistant resin in a card block. Thick-plate shaped movable contacts, which are attached to the movable contactors in a fixed manner, are electrically connected or disconnected to fixed contacts in a base block, in synchronization with operations of an armature of an electro-magnet block. In order to improve a current-carrying capability and interrupting capability, there are provided two pieces of ordinarily-open contacts which are connected in series to each other, and between which an interval is doubled, in each of two circuits.

    • An electromagnetic sound generator is proposed that can be easily and inexpensively fabricated for producing an indicating sound to enable use in an automobile or other similar environment. A spool (2) on which a coil (3) has been wound, a core (4) that is movable up and down, and a round spring (5) are installed inside a cup-shaped yoke (1); whereby supplying or cutting off the supply of current to the coil (3) causes the core (4) to strike, in single beats in accordance with drive, against the yoke (1) itself or on the side of spring (5) to produce a sound. The yoke (1), which is the magnetic circuit for driving, also serves as a sound generator, and the provision of openings such as slits in the upper surface and side surfaces of the cup-shaped yoke (1) enhances sound effects such as the tone, volume and direction of emission of the generated sound. When converting a directional indicator for an automobile to electronic circuits, the present invention enables the production of a sound for checking operation of the directional indicator that resembles the sound of a relay-type directional indicator.
