    • A passenger protecting device for a vehicle includes a central control unit. The central control unit communicates with a plurality of terminal units through a single communication line at intervals of a predetermined cycle to collect the plural informations. Consequently, without changing the communication method with the plural terminal units before and after the vehicle's collision, the device can collect the informations of high priority at short intervals and the informations of low priority at long intervals.
