摘要： An aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent solution obtained by extracting dioxins contained in a specimen such as soil with an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent is supplied to an alumina layer 33 side of a sample-preparation column 30 in which the alumina layer 33 is placed on a carbon material layer 32. Upon flowing and passing of an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent through the alumina layer 33 and the carbon material layer 32 in this order, the dioxins contained in the aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent solution are trapped in these layers. Then, one extracting solvent among toluene, a mixed solvent of toluene and an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, and a hydrophilic solvent capable of dissolving dioxins is supplied to the sample-preparation column 30 in the direction opposed to the passing direction of the aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, the dioxins trapped in the carbon material layer 32 and the alumina layer 33 are extracted to obtain a sample for analysis of dioxins.

A preparation method for a sample for analysis of dioxins includes: supplying a hydrophobic solution of dioxins to a latter column (22) filled with a silica gel-based filler (22a); supplying to and passing through the latter column (22) supplied with the hydrophobic solution a hydrophobic solvent; supplying to and passing through a solvent substitution column (30) filled with an alumina-based filler (30a) the hydrophobic solvent passed through the latter column (22); supplying to and passing through the solvent substitution column (30) a hydrophilic solvent capable of dissolving dioxins from a second solvent supply part (70) in a direction opposite to the direction of the hydrophobic solvent passed through the solvent substitution column (30); and acquiring the hydrophilic solvent passed through the solvent substitution column (30).

摘要： A collector is provided which is capable of simultaneously capturing and collecting particulate and gaseous chlorinated organic compounds contained in a fluid. The collector 3 includes a housing 6 and a captor 7 disposed within the housing 6. The captor 7 includes a tubular porous core member 7a of a sintered glass having one end closed with a close member 7c, and a gas-permeable sheet 7b fitted around the core member 7a. The gas-permeable sheet 7b is, for example, a paper-like sheet having a fibrous activated carbon and inorganic fibers. The particulate and gaseous chlorinated organic compounds contained in a gas sample flowing into the captor through a sampling tube 2 are simultaneously collected and removed from the gas sample by the core member 7a and the gas-permeable sheet 7b, and the gas sample free from the chlorinated organic compounds is then discharged from an outlet port 6b.

摘要： A low-temperature calcined ceramic of the present invention comprises a sintered body obtained by calcining a mixture of a glass and an SiO.sub.2 filler such as quartz or cristobalite, wherein the sintered body contains an SiO.sub.2 crystal having an X-ray diffraction image that the peak at the (101) plane of quartz or cristobalite is shifted at least 0.05.degree. (2.theta.) to the lower angle side. The ceramic containing the shifted crystal of quarts or cristobalite does not have a region of abruptly changing the thermal expansion and has a substantially linear thermal expansion curve. Accordingly, when the ceramic is used as an insulating substrate of a wiring boad, there is no possibility of abruptly causing the thermal expansion by heating, etc., at mounting on an external electric circuit boad and the occurrence of the inferior connection, etc., by thermal expansion can be effectively prevented.
