    • Wheel brake apparatus including a brake lining which is moveable into and out of engagement with a brake drum or break disk of a vehicle wheel to be braked. A measuring element is provided for detecting relative movement between the brake lining and the drum or disk. The brake lining is moved by way of a wheel brake piston acted upon by a pressure medium. In order to prevent a lock up of the brake, a controller piston is provided for controlling pressure medium flow to the brake piston in response to the detection of no relative movement between the brake lining and the brake disk or drum, which in turn corresponds to a complete braking action. In preferred embodiments, the controller piston controls a vent line communicating with the front and back of a braking control piston interposed between a master cylinder and the brake lining.

    • A method and a voice conference system for carrying out a voice conference are disclosed, the system having at least three voice terminals in a communication system. At least one of the voice terminals is associated with a first group such that the voice data provided by the respective receiving channels thereof is decoded into individual voice signals for said group. Said individual voice signals are superimposed to form an aggregate voice signal and the aggregate voice signal is encoded into first aggregate voice data. Furthermore, at least two of the voice terminals are associated with a second group such that the second group has only voice terminals wherein an extensive inactivity on the respective receiving channels thereof is identified. The first aggregate voice data is supplied to the voice terminals associated with the second group by the respective receiving channels for a respective output of the first aggregate voice data.

    • Controlling a fermentation plant working with a horizontal fermentor which operates per the regenerative flow process is particularly difficult, if there is a high proportion of dry substance. Biogenic decomposition in the fermentor was thus far influenced merely by recycling a portion of the ferment from the outlet to the fermentor entrance. According to the invention, the process of control is enhanced by the measurement of the pH and the dry substance portion at various points in the fermentor and controlling the fermentor on the basis of these measurements in such a way that the measurement data lie within certain established ranges. It is additionally possible, moreover, to adjust the pH and the portion of dry substance in the fermentor by the introduction of press water laden with methanobacteria from the ferment at inoculation points in the fermentor.
