摘要： The invention pertains to a filter element that includes a first flat layer and a second flat layer, wherein the layers are connected to one another such that a volume and an opening are formed, wherein the layers are spaced apart from one another via spacing devices arranged between the layers (1, 2), and wherein the spacing devices connect both layers to one another. With respect to the objective of disclosing a filter arrangement that can be easily manufactured and ensures a flawless operation, the invention proposes that such a filter element is characterized in that the spacing devices are regionally connected to one of the layers only. The invention also discloses an arrangement comprising a filter element and a frame.

摘要： A diverter valve for a faucet directs water to either the faucet spout or a spray nozzle. The faucet assembly of the present invention includes a shuttle chamber from which water may access either of two outlet paths. A poppet valve selectively enables water flow from the shuttle chamber to the outlet path leading to the faucet spout whenever the water pressure in the outlet path leading to the spray nozzle is greater than or equal to the pressure in the shuttle chamber. When the spray nozzle is actuated, pressure in the outlet path leading to the nozzle is relieved and the poppet valve closes off the outlet path leading to the faucet spout. A bypass channel is provided between the shuttle chamber and the outlet path leading to the spray nozzle, thereby allowing water to flow through the nozzle while it is actuated. A precision sized orifice in the bypass channel maintains the pressure differential acting on the poppet valve so that flow to the faucet spout remains cut off while the spray nozzle is actuated.

摘要： A mack washer includes an internal surface with a helical seal that engages the threads on a pop-up body, and a beveled extension depending from the bottom surface. The helical seal follows the shape of the threads on the pop-up body and assumes the shape of the threads, extending generally to the minor diameter of the threads, thereby eliminating seepage. The helical seal can be interrupted to facilitate engagement. A lock nut for use with the mack washer includes a beveled seat configured to engage the beveled extension and urge the beveled extension into further contact with the pop-up body, thereby increasing the sealing effect of the mack washer.

摘要： A minipleat synthetic filter assembly is provided. The filter assembly includes a frame assembly and a section of pleated filter media mounted within the frame assembly. The frame assembly includes a plurality of corner members and an equal plurality of side members interconnecting the corner members. The frame assembly may be made in any desired size and shape to accommodate a wide variety of applications. The section of filter media is a sheet of a synthetic nonwoven material folded to form minipleats having a spacing between adjacent peaks of no greater than 20 mm.

摘要： A filtration system has a main filter assembly having a frame and filter media comprising pleated sections arranged in a row in V shapes within the frame. The filter media is spaced from an upstream face of the frame a distance sufficient to prevent blinding of the filter media by an upstream filter media, thereby eliminating a filtration stage and reducing the volume of the filtration system. Filter media alignment members disposed within the frame assist in holding the filter media sections in alignment within the frame. In another embodiment, flexible strips of edge banding, preferably of a filter material, are affixed to adjacent upper and lower longitudinal edges of the sections of the filter media. The edge banding minimizes pressure drop across the filter and is simpler and less costly to manufacture.
