The bag has partition wall dividing the bag into compartments for medicines, the wall has welded portion separated by pressing to the bag, the port has extended portion extending to inside the bag and closure member integral with the port and having U-shaped profile, the member has sealed point connected to the bag such that the member is opened by expansion of the bag when the wall separates, the extended portion has recess and thin wall portion connecting to the member, the thin wall portion is broken by the expansion of the bag such that the member is pulled by the sealed point, hinges at the recess and is opened, and the sealed point is positioned away from the recess and toward the wall.

    • A multi-chamber container of two liquid mixing type, aiming for obtaining an increased reliability for preventing an administration from being practiced under a non separated condition of a weak seal.The medical bag 10 has an outer peripheral strong seal 14 and a weak seal 18 for separating the space inside the medical bag into two partitions 20 and 22. At the tip end of an outlet port 12, a flap 28 as a valve member is provided, which usually closes the outlet port 12 to the space inside the medical bag. The flap 28 is connected to the opposite surface of the medical bag, so that the flap 28 is displaced in cooperation with an expansion deformation of the medical bag as obtained when the weak seal 18 is opened, resulting in opening of the outlet port 12. The flap is formed with a small hole 44 for limiting a liquid flow amount to a small value. When an infusion operation being started under the non-opened state of the weak seal, the liquid flow amount to the outlet port is restricted to a small amount by the small hole 44, thereby notifying the non-opened state of the weak seal and warning that the weak seal should be opened.

    • A multi-chamber container having an outlet port, which is usually closed and is opened in cooperation with an expanded deformation of the bag upon the opening of the medical bag and aiming to obtain more reliable opening of the medical bag upon the separation of the partition wall. The outlet port firmly welded to a strong seal 14-1 at an outer periphery has a base portion 12-1, from which a rectangular cross-sectional shaped portion 12-6 integrally extends. The rectangular cross-sectional shaped portion 12-6 has, at its top surface, a U-shaped groove, the bottom surface 30 of which functions as a weak portion 30′. To a portion 33 inward from the U-shaped groove 39 at the top wall of the rectangular cross-sectional shaped portion 12-6, the opposed surface of the medical bag is firmly welded by a point seal 34. An expansion of the medical bag upon its opening generates an outside force, resulting in a breakage at the weak portion 30′, so that a rotating movement of the portion 33 under a pull-tab manner is generated. As a result, an opening 36 for a communication of the inside of the medical bag to the inside of the outlet port is formed at the location of the outlet port occupied by the portion 33 prior to the formation of the opening 36.

    • The present invention relates to a multi-chamber medical bag, which is capable of obtaining a positive mixture of medicines, prior to the discharge thereof. A weak seal 24 is provided for dividing the space inside the medical bag 10 into the left-handed and right-handed partitions 26-1 and 26-2. The weak seal 24 has a first portion 24-1 extending between the partitions 26-1 and 26-2 and a bifurcated adjacent to and faced with an outlet port 12. Additional strong seals 30-1 and 30-2 are arranged on both sides of the second portion 24-2 and extend at right angle to the first portion 241 toward the strong seal 14 at the outer periphery of the medical bag. When the partition 26-1 or 26-2 is pressed, the resultant inflated deformation of the medical bag is mainly directed to the first portion 24-1 due to the existence of the additional strong seals 30-1 and 30-2, which allows the last portion to be separated, resulting in a mixing of the medicines in the partitions 26-1 and 26-2. The second portion 24-2 is the opened, which allows the mixed medicines to be introduced into the outlet port 12.

    • A medicine discharge stopper for a medical bag of a type where a multiple of medicines are mixed, aiming to positively exclude a possibility of generation of erroneous operation that administration is done without opening the mixing seal. The medical bag is formed from a soft film and has an inner space, which is divided into compartments 20 and 22. An outlet port 12 is provided so that it is opened to the first compartment 20. The stopper includes split halves, which, when tied, form an inner space 34 of the outlet port 12. The combination is done under a resilient force by cantilever fashioned extending parts 38. When the weak seal portion is opened, an impact-like hydraulic force is generated and the bag is widened, which causes the flaps 30 and 32 to be opened against the resilient force, resulting in a release of the stopper. The flaps 30 and 32 are made separable from the body parts, which allows the stopper to be also utilized for a holder of needle during the execution of infusion process.
