    • Duty cycle correction systems and methods of adjusting duty cycles are provided. One such duty cycle correction system includes a duty cycle adjustor and a variable delay line coupled to the output of the duty cycle adjustor. First and second phase detectors have first inputs coupled to the output of the duty cycle adjustor through an inverter and second inputs coupled to the output of the variable delay line. The phase detectors cause the delay line to align rising or falling edges of signals at the output of the delay line with rising or falling edges, respectively, of signals at the output of the inverter. The controller simultaneously causes the duty cycle adjustor to adjust the duty cycle of the output clock signal until the rising and falling edges of signals at the output of the delay line are aligned with rising and falling edges, respectively, of signals at the output of the inverter.

To achieve this, the transmission system transmits first synchronizing data (HV) for identifying vertical synchronization, second synchronizing data (HDp) for identifying and synchronizing an effective video line, pixel data for the effective video line, a required digital audio signal, and auxiliary control data. The transmission system can reduce a transmission capacity, optimize a transmission format for optical wireless transmission, and decrease a transmission speed.

    • A speech recognition system recognizes voices from sequence data which is expected to be input in a regular, predetermined order. The speech recognition system includes a unit generating a recognition reference word by adding items of dummy data to each item of the sequence data, and a unit recognizing and outputting from among a set of recognition reference words that recognition reference word which is the most similar to an externally input voice. The recognition reference word is output as a recognized result on the basis of a feature of the input voice. Moreover, the dummy data are neighboring data which lie in a neighborhood of all items of the sequence data, thus forming the set of recognition reference words available for speech recognition.
