The reflector is constituted by a perpendicularly split plurality of partial reflectors, with the reflective surface of each partial reflector being configured such that the horizontal spread of reflected light reflected by each partial reflectors is approximately equal in a predetermined projection plane.

A wiring channel of a second type connects at least one of the first light-emitting elements in series with at least one of the second light-emitting elements, and lights these by supplying power thereto, thereby forming a light distribution pattern of a second type. The position of a light-dark boundary that extends vertically in the light distribution pattern of the first type is different from the position of a light-dark boundary that extends vertically in the light distribution pattern of the second type.

Between the excitation light source array and the scanning mechanism, a lens array having a plurality of light condensing portions is provided. The plurality of light condensing portions are arranged to respectively face the plurality of light emitting portions, and configured to condense lights emitted from respective light emitting portions on the reflective surface, respectively, and arrange respective optical images of reflected lights on the phosphor.
