摘要： A lighting device comprising a plurality of lighting modules arranged concentrically about an optical axis is disclosed wherein the plurality of lighting modules emit light in at least one of a plurality of wavelength ranges (UV, visible (e.g., blue, green, yellow, orange, red, white, etc.), IR) and are arranged at a non-parallel angle to an optical axis of the lighting device, wherein the emitted light is directed towards a lens system that focuses the light onto a viewing point. A second lighting device is disclosed, wherein the lighting device comprises a plurality of lighting modules arranged concentrically about an inner circumference of the lighting device, wherein the plurality of lighting modules emit light in at least one of a plurality of wavelength ranges (UV, visible (e.g., blue, green, yellow, orange, red, white, etc.), IR) onto a lighting director device that redirects the emitted light toward a lens system that focuses the light onto a viewing point.

The first light beam (140) has a first spectral power distribution, the second light beam (150) has a second spectral power distribution and the second spectral power distribution is different from the first spectral power distribution. The lighting device further comprises at least one light-delimiting element (160) adjustable relative to at least one of the at least one first light source and the at least one second light source. The at least one light-delimiting element is further configured to delimit the first light beam and the second light beam thereby modify an area of overlap on the surface (110) of the first light beam (140) and the second light beam (150) by forming a boundary of the light (170) separating the first light beam and the second light beam, such that the first light source is configured to illuminate at least a first region (180) of the surface, and the second light source is configured to illuminate at least a second region (190) of the surface adjoining the at least one first region of the surface.

摘要： An overhead lighting fixture containing both visible light sources and UV light sources is disclosed herein. UV light can sanitize/disinfect the surrounding environment after the environment over a period of about 30-45 minutes. In this way, viruses, germs, bacteria, mold, and the like can be destroyed to clean the air and/or surfaces (e.g., furniture). Accordingly, embodiments of the present invention provide a controllable UV lighting assembly that can produce UV light to sanitize/disinfect an area and can be automatically disabled to prevent UV light exposure to those in the area using a motion sensor. The lighting assembly can produce visible light while the UV light source is disabled. According to some embodiments, the duration of UV light production is controlled by a timer for power savings.

摘要： A light sensing module includes a substrate, a light sensing unit, a first light-transmissive component, and a light shielding layer. The light sensing unit is disposed on the substrate to sense an intensity of a working light beam, and has an upper light receiving surface and a lateral surface perpendicular to the upper light receiving surface. The first light-transmissive component covers the light sensing unit, and has a first refractive index between a refractive index of the light sensing unit and a refractive index of air. The light shielding layer surrounds the lateral surface and is covered by the first light-transmissive component.

The fixture has a base attached to a building ceiling, the fixture having a first tombstone, and a second tombstone. The first and second tombstones are configured to receive between them a fluorescent light tube. The retrofit kit is connected to the base. The retrofit kit includes a light panel, the light panel having a first side facing the fixture and an opposite second side. The light panel resides between the first tombstone and the second tombstone, and the fixture resides above the light panel. The combination is devoid of a fluorescent light tube. The base and the light panel define between them a raceway. A light emitting diode is disposed on the second side of the light panel.

The second light assembly includes a housing, a plurality of second LEDs, and a battery receptacle configured to receive a battery pack. The headlamp further includes an actuator operable to control operation of the first light assembly and the second light assembly, and a wire extending from the second light assembly to the first light assembly to electrically couple the battery receptacle to the plurality of first LEDs.

Each LED cluster preferably includes four differently colored LEDs, or four different color-correlated temperature LEDs, in a single optic defining a foursquare array. A cluster thus arranged thereby promotes thorough mixing of the differing wavelengths of light emitted by the cluster. Further, a plurality of such clusters may be arranged so to enhance or optimize color mixing amongst the plurality of clusters. A series of LED clusters may be situated linearly along a suitable substrate in a luminaire for emitting visible light.
