摘要： Data associated with an accessory that is coupled with a host device are retrieved for the host device by a portable memory device coupled with the host device. The method for retrieving the data includes capturing a code containing the accessory ID, storing the accessory ID in a nonvolatile memory region of the portable memory device, copying the accessory ID from the nonvolatile memory region to a wirelessly-communicable memory region of the portable memory device, the accessory ID being output from the wirelessly-communicable memory region to a user computing device when the user computing device comes within a predetermined communication range of the wirelessly-communicable memory region, and upon detecting that content data associated with the accessory ID are returned from user computing device, storing the content data in the wirelessly-communicable memory region and copying the content data stored in the wirelessly-communicable memory region to the nonvolatile memory region.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a memory device includes a nonvolatile memory, a first controller which controls the nonvolatile memory, a wireless antenna, a memory, a second controller, and a third controller. The wireless antenna generates electric power based on a radio wave from a first external device. The memory is operable based on the generated electric power. The second controller is operable based on the generated electric power and controls communication using the wireless antenna. The third controller controls data copy or transfer between the nonvolatile memory and the memory. The third controller receives, from a second external device, identification information and stores the identification information in the memory. The second controller transmits login information and identification information stored in the memory to the first external device via the wireless antenna.

摘要： A wireless communication system includes a storage apparatus and a computing device. The storage apparatus includes a connector, a wireless antenna, a nonvolatile first memory having stored therein visual or audio content, a communication controller powered from an induction current generated when a wireless signal is received through the wireless antenna, and a controller powered using the power supplied from the electronic apparatus through the connector. The controller retrieves the visual or audio content from the first memory based on content ID transmitted wirelessly from the computing device and transmits the retrieved visual or audio content to the electronic apparatus for playback by the electronic apparatus. The computing device includes an image capturing unit, extracts feature values from the data of the captured image, and transmits the wireless signal containing the content ID to the storage apparatus, the content ID being determined from the extracted feature values.
