In order to transmit a command message with respect to an RFID tag, an RFID reader generates a command message comprising a command code indicating a type of command to be delivered to the RFID tag, a response format having one or more bits for indicating a type of additional data to be added to a response message to be received from the RFID tag, and an identifier identifying the RFID tag; and transmits the command message to the RFID tag, thereby allowing the RFID tag to immediately transmit the additional data via the response message in response to the command message.

摘要： A passive tag including a volatile memory is provided. The passive tag includes: a sensing unit which senses or measures information about environmental surroundings of the tag; a volatile memory; a non-volatile memory; and a control unit which firstly stores resultant data sensed or measured by the sensing unit in the volatile memory and then moves the data stored in the volatile memory to the non-volatile memory according to pre-set conditions. Therefore, the life of the tag is prolonged and stability of important data can be secured.

摘要： Disclosed is an RFID interrogator having a collision type identification function and a control method thereof. It verifies whether or not a collision occurs in a received signal by analyzing data of a signal received from an RF communication unit and performs a corresponding collision resolution operation by diagnosing a collision type in accordance with a collision generation means between the corresponding RFID interrogator and other interrogators or a tag. Since all types of collisions that occur between the RFID interrogator and the tag can be identified, a reason for occurrence of the collisions can be rapidly recognized to cope with the reason for the collisions.
