    • A keypad is used to enter complex characters using a phonetic input method editor (IME). The user may enter complex characters by combining consonants, vowels, mid-vowels and tones by selecting keys on a the keypad instead of using a full size keyboard. Instead of a one-to-one mapping between the symbols and keys on a full size keyboard, multiple symbols are assigned to single keys on the keypad. For example, on a keypad having ten keys an average of four phonetic symbols are mapped to each of the ten keys on the keypad. The phonetic symbols are applied to the keypad in layers. For example, the symbols may be may be mapped to a consonant layer; a middle vowels+vowels layer; a vowels layer and a tone layer. Phonetic symbols with similar readings may also be mapped to the same key.

    • A digital broadcasting antenna structure includes a substrate having at least a first and a second face; a main antenna arranged on the first face; an amplifier arranged on the first face and electrically connected to the main antenna; a compensating unit arranged on the second face and electrically connected to the main antenna; a bandwidth modulating unit arranged on the second face and electrically connected to the compensating unit; and a grounding section arranged on the second face and electrically connected to the bandwidth modulating unit. The digital broadcasting antenna structure can receive digital broadcasting signals without being restricted to any specific receiving direction, and is applicable to low, intermediate and high frequency bands to therefore achieve the effects of miniaturization, high bandwidth and low return loss.

    • The present invention is a flexible wireless communication network connection point that provides convenient and effective connection of network devices to a network. In one embodiment the present invention is a multi-configuration network connection point device comprising a first connection interface, a second connection interface, a means for intelligently concentrating data and a communication bus. The first connection interface includes a primary connection port for communicatively coupling to an upstream network device. The second connection interface including a secondary connection port for communicatively coupling to a downstream network device via a wireless technology. In one exemplary implementation the second connection interface is adapted to be secured in a fixed location while conveniently providing the communicative coupling to a downstream network device via a wireless technology. The means for intelligently concentrating data concentrates data from a plurality of interface connection ports included in the second connection interface for communication on the primary connection port of the first connection interface. The communication bus communicatively couples the first connection interface to the second connection interface.

    • A swinging mechanism for a lawn sprinkler includes a sprinkling control unit with a gear-operated transmission mechanism adapted therein attached to one side of a sprinkler mount thereof. A limiting connector having a water outlet connector engaged at one side is correspondingly matched to the gear-operated transmission mechanism and a sprinkler body. A main driving wheel, an adjusting seat, and a water inlet connector are sequentially coupled at the other end of the gear-operated transmission mechanism thereof. A flow switch plate, a switch device and a retaining pole are mounted to a limiting groove of the adjusting seat thereof. The switch device, of a frame body, has resilient ribs extending centripetally at the inner side meshing with an adjusting serrated section of the retaining pole, inverted U-shaped resilient sections with stop blocks abutting against one side of protruded guide blocks of the limiting groove thereof, and indented control sections to retain both ends of the flow switch plate therein. To swing back the sprinkler body at the limiting end, the switch device is rotated at the limiting groove of the adjusting groove therein via the retaining pole coupled with the gear-operated transmission mechanism at one end, instantaneously pushing the stop blocks over to the other side of the protruded guide blocks and activating the flow switch plate to move therewith so as to precisely switch the angle of water discharge and effect the operation of the sprinkling control unit in an easy and smooth manner.

    • The present invention presents a method and system for providing an intelligent data concentrator communicatively coupled to a network by a wireless mode. Specifically, the present invention comprises a portable intelligent device, communicatively connected to a network by a wireless mode, which may, for example, be placed in the center of a conference table to facilitate a number of client devices connecting for simultaneous access to the network and, at the same time, allowing for ease in moving about the room. In one embodiment, the portable intelligent data concentrator is communicatively coupled by a wireless mode to an access point. In one embodiment, the intelligent data concentrator is battery powered. In one embodiment, the access point through which the intelligent data concentrator is connected to the network is another intelligent data concentrator. In another embodiment, the access point is a Bluetooth access point.
