    • Disclosed herein is a robot mechanism for inspection of a live-line suspension insulator string. A robot body of the robot mechanism reciprocates along the live-line suspension insulator string and includes upper and lower robot frames configured to encircle the insulator string, a battery module provided to either end of the robot body, an actuation module for moving the robot body along the insulator string, an inspection module for electrically inspecting an insulator, a connection module for coupling the robot body to an installation/dismantlement mechanism, a wing opening/closing module for manually separating the robot body from the insulator string, a measurement module for measuring electrical properties of the insulator, a controller for controlling operation of the robot body, and a crack detection unit for detecting cracks formed in the insulator.

    • A handling system for an in-core detector thimble tube of a reactor is disclosed. The handling system serves to withdraw and retract a thimble tube so as to provide a movement path of a movable detector used to measure a neutron flux within a reactor. For this, the handling system basically includes a thimble tube withdrawing/retracting device, which grips the thimble tube using a plurality of synthetic resin pinch rollers to withdraw and retract the thimble tube without any damage to the thimble tube, a thimble tube tensioning device, which applies a constant tensile force to the thimble tube to prevent the thimble tube from shaking or bending upon withdrawing/retracting operations, and a thimble tube platform, which temporarily keeps the withdrawn thimble tube at a fixed position without a risk of shaking of the thimble tube and provides a movement path of the thimble tube tensioning device. With automatic withdrawal/retraction of the thimble tube without damage provides advantages of an extended thimble tube exchange interval, improved safety of system facilities, reduced labor costs and working time, and reduced worker radiation exposure, shortened precaution/maintenance period, and enhanced reactor use efficiency.

    • A coupling set for connecting a ground plate for arrest of lightning is provided, in which the ground plate is embedded underground below an electric pole in order to effectively arrest lightning. Accordingly, lightning can be effectively grounded. The connection members are connected with each other top and bottom and left and right. The lowest connection member is supported below an electric pole. Thus, when the electric pole is buried, a coupling set having connection members for connecting a ground plate is not be pushed up. Also, it is very easy to connect a lightning arrest copper wire with a ground terminal.
