摘要： A compact storage system, mountable for operation on a flat base platform, includes at least one guide rail having a roof and two legs depending from the roof thereby defining an inverted, generally U-shaped continuous channel. The guide rail is mounted in spaced generally mutually parallel relation to the base platform with its legs projecting toward the base platform so that the channel opens downwardly. The compact storage system further includes at least one movable storage unit that is supported for translational movement on the base platform. One or more guide rollers are mounted on the storage unit to be received in the channel of the guide rail with the guide roller being formed to engage either one of the legs of the rail for movement relative thereto. Accordingly, translational movement of the storage unit is confined to a path defined by the guide rail.

The support post is composed of pultruded thermosetting plastic having unidirectional E Glass fibers extending therethrough and a thermoplastic coating bonded to the outer surface thereof. The inner surface of the interior side of the support post is bowed outwardly. As a result, when a wedge member is disposed on the interior side of the post and the support post and wedge member combination supports by wedge action a sleeve comprising an end beam and a collar, the interior side of the support post is urged outwardly and is supported by the wedge member. The collar is locked to the end beam when a tongue of the collar passes through a slot in the end beam into a rotatable lock in a blind hole in the bottom of the end beam. A plurality of shelves are adapted to be snap-fit over a rectangular support structure comprising two end beams, and two side beams and a center beam connecting the two end beams. In this manner the shelf can be easily assembled and disassembled and supported on a support post at a predetermined height.

摘要： A device stores a plurality of dishes or the like in a plurality of stacks, with each stack at an object-receiving region within the device. The device includes a base and a plurality of spaced apart partitions for partitioning the space extending above the base into a plurality of object-receiving regions. The space between the partitions forms a pair of diametrically opposite slits in each object-receiving region. In one embodiment, four generally T-shaped partitions together form four object-receiving regions, and a central open region. In another embodiment, eight partitions, including two corner partitions, four generally T-shaped partitions, and two cross-shaped partitions, form nine object-receiving regions, one of which is a central open region extending above the center of the base. The use of diametrically opposed slits facilitates the loading and unloading of dishes and permits the slits to be relatively narrow so that they occupy a relatively small proportion, about 23% in one embodiment, of the total lateral periphery of the object-receiving regions. Further, the use of an object-receiving region positioned in the center of the device permits the formation of nine object-receiving regions, thereby increasing the number of stacks of dishes that can be stored in the device.

摘要： A single piece, molded plastic shelf is configured with spaced channels and ribs having slots to provide upward and downward fluid communication with items stored thereon. A generally flat tray of molded plastic is provided with a flange extending upwardly around its periphery. Rib sections are spaced periodically about the tray, forming generally parallel channels to the rib sections to allow free circulation of air and free drainage of liquids from the underside of stored items. Each rib section extends upwardly a greater extent than the peripheral flange. Slots are provided in each rib section further to allow the free circulation of air or other gases while restricting drainage of liquids.

In the retracted position, the syringe device may be used to inject the needle into the patient. After the needle has been withdrawn or as the needle is withdrawn from the patient, in its operative mode, the shield extends from its retracted position to a needle containing position to shield the point of the needle to prevent accidental sticks and to render the syringe unuseable after a single injection.

摘要： A soft hood and module assembly adapted to convert an open baker's rack loaded with pieces of yeast dough into a proofing chamber where the pieces are subjected to a hot humid air environment acting to raise these pieces prior to their baking. The module for generating hot humid air is placed in the base of the rack with its air inlet adjacent the front end of the rack and its outlet adjacent the rear end. The soft hood which is fabricated of flexible plastic sheeting encloses the rack to form a chamber having a feed duct parallel to the rear end of the rack which communicates with the module outlet, and a return duct parallel to the front end of the rack which communicates with the module inlet. In operation, hot, humid air blown out of the module outlet into the feed duct is distributed thereby to pass across the dough pieces supported by the rack into the return duct from which the air flows back into the inlet of the module for recirculation in the chamber to uniformly proof the pieces.

摘要： A waste compaction and liquid extraction system and method are provided. The system includes a tank for containing liquid and solids, and a tray that seats on the tank. The tray includes a feeding mechanism for moving bags of waste across the tray, and a stuffing mechanism for pushing the bags down into the tank. A rotary disc impeller is mounted in the tank for grinding the solids to form a mixture of liquid and solids. The impeller has a rotating blade with inclined and bevelled cutting members. A stationary helical screw is horizontally mounted to the output port of the tank. The screw has a receiving end adjacent to the output port and a discharge end. The tank conducts the mixture to the receiving end of the screw. A sieve is provided having a cylindrical sieve surface surrounding the screw. The liquid drains through the sieve. The sieve is rotatably mounted to the output port of the tank. The sieve rotates about the screw to move the solids longitudinally towards the discharge end of the screw. A restrictor at the end of the sieve maintains backpressure to squeeze liquid out of the partially dried solids. A housing surrounds the sieve. The housing is mounted to the input port of the tank for communicating liquid that drains from the sieve back to the tank by way of the input port.
