摘要： A programmable logic device (PLD) with a programmable logic core, block memory, and I/O circuitry has one or more blocks of standard-cell logic (SLBs) that are integrated into the PLD design to enable each SLB to be programmably connected to any one or more of the programmable core, the block memory, and/or the I/O circuitry. The addition of standard-cell-based functional blocks creates a PLD with increased overall logic density, a net smaller die size per function, lowered cost, and improvements to both power and performance characteristics relative to equivalent conventional PLDs, such as FPGAs.

摘要： A base transistor structure and associated programmable cell library compatible with standard cell computer-aided design (CAD) tools are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment of the invention, the base transistor structure is symmetric about one or more axes, and extends only a single grid of a standard cell CAD tool in width. The base transistor structure is advantageously configured in a manner that permits the utilization of gate isolation to separate active transistors in adjacent base transistor structures. The base transistor structure can be used to implement a programmable cell technology that is fully compatible with standard cell CAD tools.

摘要： An electrical switch includes a pivotally supported blade, a toggle mechanism, and an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism is drivable in a first direction to pivot the blade about a first axis and toward a closed blade position. When pivoting toward the closed blade position, the toggle mechanism inhibits the blade from pivoting about a second axis. Upon reaching the closed blade position, continued motion of the operating mechanism in the first direction causes the toggle mechanism to pivot the blade about the second axis toward a closed contact position. In the closed contact position, the blade contacts at least one blade contact to electrically connect the blade and a first electrical terminal.

摘要： A circuit interrupting device for use with an electrical power distribution system, comprising a circuit interrupter that includes a primary contact and a movable contact movable relative to the primary contact between a closed position allowing current to pass through the circuit interrupter and an open position separating the contacts and preventing the current from passing through the circuit interrupter. An actuator is coupled to the circuit interrupter. The actuator includes a shaft coupled to the movable contact of the circuit interrupter for substantially simultaneous movement without insulation being disposed between the shaft and the movable contact. The shaft moves the movable contact from the closed position to the open position upon occurrence of a fault current. An electronic control is electrically connected to the actuator and communicating with the actuator to trigger the shaft to move the movable contact of the circuit interrupter from the closed position to the open position.
