    • A taxi guidance system is provided for an aircraft having a primary thrust engine and an onboard electric taxi system. The taxi guidance system includes or cooperates with a source of aircraft status data for the aircraft, and a source of airport feature data associated with synthetic graphical representations of an airport field. The taxi guidance system includes a processor operatively coupled to the source of aircraft status data and to the source of airport feature data to generate, in response to at least the aircraft status data and the airport feature data, taxi path guidance information for the aircraft, start/stop guidance information associated with operation of the primary thrust engine, and speed guidance information for the onboard electric taxi system. The processor generates image rendering display commands that can be received by a display system to render a dynamic synthetic representation of the airport field that includes graphical indicia of the taxi path guidance information, the start/stop guidance information, and the speed guidance information.

The system includes, but is not limited to, a moving map display, a position detecting unit, a flight management system, an electronic storage unit for storing navigation procedures associated with geographic locations, and a processor coupled with the moving map display, the position detecting unit, the flight management system, and the electronic storage unit. The processor is configured to receive a current location of the aircraft from the position determining unit and a flight path from the flight management system, to retrieve a navigation procedure from the electronic storage unit corresponding to the current location and the flight path of the aircraft, and to command the moving map display to display a graphic depiction of the flight path.

    • A method and system to improve anaerobic digestion are disclosed. Simultaneous digestion of dairy manures with various food wastes improves anaerobic process stability and methane production. Co-digestion with blood meal and sweet clover (“BMSC”) at the proper concentrations improves nutrient balance and digestion, equalization of solids by dilution, biogas production, possible gate fees for waste treatment, additional soil amendment products, reclamation, renewable biomass, and increases the potential for production of ammonia-based fertilizer synthesis. Balanced introduction of BMSC with dairy manure increases methane production, reduces or eliminates co-digestion process limitations, and simplifies storage and delivery of the co-substrate. Following digestion, downstream or back-end products can be produced, including methane, fuel cells, and ammonium nitrate. Embodiments advantageously provide a treatment methodology for increased methane production while minimizing the anaerobic digestion process limitations from the use of raw animal wastes.
