    • A rotary combustion engine of trochoid design. The engine includes a housing composed of a jacket having a multicurved inner jacket face and two parallel side walls and a substantially horizontally disposed eccentric shaft which extends through circular apertures in the side walls. A liquid cooled piston is rotatably mounted on the eccentric. Oil control rings are mounted on the piston end walls which coact with the side faces of the side wall. A disk is provided in at least one piston end wall with a hub which rotates with the eccentric shaft concentrically with respect to the rotational axis of the piston and extends into the aperture of the side wall. The disk and the hub are provided with sealing rings in tight sealing engagement with the piston end wall and the wall of the aperture, respectively. The sealing rings encompass an annular chamber which is limited radially outwardly by the oil control ring. A groove is provided in the lower range of the wall of the aperture which receives the hub of the disk. This groove is coupled at its lowermost point with a return line by means of a bore.

    • A device for joining a first component A and a second component B while leaving a joining gap SP includes a bolt 4 and a compensating coil 2 for compensating tolerances of the joining gap. The compensating coil is adapted to be fixed to the bolt 4 by frictional engagement means and/or releasable positive engagement means. The dimensions of the compensating coil are adapted to a helical rim hole portion 6 of the first component A such that actuation of the bolt 4 causes the compensating coil to rotate through the helical rim hole portion until it fills the joining gap for the purpose of tolerance compensation, and the frictional engagement means and/or releasable positive engagement means is overcome by further actuation of the bolt 4 so that the bolt can be screwed into a threaded hole of the second component B to join the two components.

    • This invention relates to switching apparatus for mechanical remote control of the gear box of the motor vehicle.A gear lever 1 is connected to one end of a gear selector rod 4 such that movement of the gear lever can cause axial or rotary movement of the rod. A two arm intermediate link 5 is connected to the other end of rod 4 for movement therewith. One arm is operatively connected to main gear shaft 13 by a link (10, 11 and 12) while the other arm is operatively connected to main gear shaft 13 by a link (6, 15, 16-19, 22, 24, 25, 30 and 31). The first mentioned link converts the rotary movement of rod 4 into longitudinal movement of shaft 13, while the second link converts axial movement of rod 4 into rotary movement of shaft 13.The two links are so arranged so as to take up or absorb vibrational or other movement transmitted from the gear box so as to reduce or avoid vibration of gear lever 1.

    • A rotary-piston machine, in particular a rotary-piston combustion engine of trochoid type is provided. The machine includes a housing composed of at least one shell and at least two parallel end pieces and is traversed perpendicular to the end pieces by an eccentric shaft mounted in the end pieces. A liquid-cooled polygonal piston is rotatably mounted on the eccentric of the shaft. The piston contains cavities provided with at least one aperture near their radially inner portion. The eccentric shaft has an axial bore traversed by the liquid and communicating by way of transverse holes with the bearing and with at least one nozzle. The orifice of the nozzle is directed at the aperture of the piston cavities. Controls are arranged in the axial bore of the eccentric shaft for controlling the communication between the axial bore and the nozzle according to the engine load and/or the temperature of the liquid.
