    • A golf game assembly includes a game board representing a single hole of a golf course showing a tee, a fairway, a green, and hazards. A set of drive or stroke cards are provided for positioning on the board, each card representing possible drives or strokes performed with a specific golf club, and each having a first indication of a starting point and a plurality of second indications representing a specific drive or stroke of a specific length and direction from the starting point. A mechanism randomly generates an indication from among the plurality of second indications, and displays the randomly generated indication representing a player's drive or stroke from the starting point, and one or more transfer indicators for transferring to the board a drive or stroke indicated on a specific drive or stroke card positioned on the board and determined by the randomly generated indication.

    • A temperature compensation system (300) is provided for compensating measurements from a sensor (240). A temperature transducer (310) is placed in close proximity to a manufacturing workstation as a means of measuring the ambient temperature associated with the workstation (200). A reference workpiece (100) is placed within a sensing zone of the sensor (240). The system (300) includes a temperature compensating module (320) that is connected to the sensor (240) and to the temperature transducer (310) for determining a baseline measurement of the reference workpiece at a reference temperature. The temperature compensating module (320) is further adapted for collecting a plurality of measurements of the reference workpiece over a plurality of temperatures for establishing a relationship between these measurements and their corresponding temperature values. In addition, a workpiece measuring module (330) is also connected to the sensor (240) and to the temperature transducer (310) for measuring a first workpiece at a first temperature, whereby the sensor measurement is compensated for temperature using this relationship. In this way, the temperature compensation system (300) compensates the sensor measurement for physical changes in any of the components of the workstation that are caused by fluctuations in ambient temperature. Rather than compensate for ambient temperature changes, the temperature compensation system (300) may also be adapted to compensate sensor measurements based on process driven temperature changes (i.e., a “hot” workpiece).

    • The present invention provides a method of testing the ability of a test compound to bind to and optionally modulate the activity of a protein of the JMJD2 subfamily of Jumonji proteins. The method comprises incubating a test compound with a protein of the JMJD2 subfamily of Jumonji proteins, a co-factor of said protein and, optionally, a substrate for demethylation. The method of the invention can be used for screening large numbers of compounds to identify a group of compounds that are candidate compounds for clinical use for treatment of certain cancers especially prostate cancers. Other compounds that do not have activity in the screening assays can be eliminated from further consideration as candidate compounds. The method of the invention therefore has utility in the pharmaceutical industry.
