摘要： Techniques for supporting fallback operation in a multi-carrier communication system are described. In one aspect, a UE may determine at least one first downlink control information (DCI) format to monitor on a first carrier. The UE may monitor for the first DCI format(s) on the first carrier to detect DCI sent to the UE. The UE may receive a reconfiguration message related to communication on a plurality of carriers by the UE with cross-carrier signaling, and may determine at least one second DCI format to monitor on the first carrier based on the reconfiguration message. The UE may monitor for the first DCI format(s) and the second DCI format(s) on the first carrier after receiving the reconfiguration message.

Further, the uplink carrier for random access can be identified based upon a bandwidth related to the user equipment (UE). Reference signals can also be employed in order to identify an uplink carrier to perform random access.

摘要： Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed for facilitating indicating and detecting control region sizes. A multi-carrier communication between a wireless terminal and a base station is facilitated by a first carrier having a first control region size and a second carrier having a second control region size. Embodiments are disclosed in which control region sizes are ascertained from a control signal, wherein the control is generated by either scrambling an aspect of the control signal based on the second control region size, or relating the second control region size with the first control region size. Other disclosed embodiments for ascertaining control region sizes include a reverse interleaver embodiment, wherein a set of modulation symbols is mapped beginning from a last data symbol and ending with a first available data symbol.

In some examples, a user equipment determines a configuration for reporting CSI for each component carrier (CC) in a plurality of component carriers. For a first subframe, the user equipment determines a priority for transmitting CSI associated with the plurality of CCs based at least in part on the configuration. The user equipment sends, in the first subframe, a CSI report including the prioritized CSI. The CSI report can include CSI for a single CC, or CSI for multiple CCs. For multi-CC reporting of CSI, the user equipment can multiplex CSI reports or CSI elements for the plurality of CCs up to an available payload size.

The method also includes processing the overlapping information in accordance with the received triggering information. The overlapping information can be consistent configuration information for the aperiodic SRS transmission, in which case the processing includes transmitting an aperiodic SRS in accordance with the configuration information. When the overlapping information has dissimilar configurations for the aperiodic SRS transmission, the processing includes treating the overlapping information as an error event. The overlapping information can be a trigger received in an uplink grant and a trigger received in a downlink grant. The wireless system can be a multicarrier system including multiple component carriers.
