It has a horn-shaped guide with two energy leading-in central strips that radiate directly in space by means of excitation obstacles which are cylindrical studs arranged in pairs on the inner surfaces of the side walls to obtain the desired directivity. By means of this distributor, it is possible to simultaneously achieve sum and difference patterns or again different directions of aim.

摘要： Such a system typically comprises: a plurality of elementary antennas configured in an array, each having an associated active module, a plurality of DBF modules, each receiving a microwave signal coming from the active modules and delivering complex digital data (I, Q) representing the input signal; and DBF processor means preparing weighted sums on the basis of this complex digital data, the weighting corresponding to a reception channel defining a narrow beam of the radiation pattern of the antenna. The system further comprises a plurality of prefiltering spatial circuits, each of which receives a plurality of signals coming from the active module and delivers, to an associated DBF module, a signal which is a sum, weighted in amplitude, of certain of the signals received at input, each DBF module being thus associated with a sub-array, the different sub-arrays thus forming being imbricated with one another and the weighting being chosen so that the pattern of the sub-array is a sectoral pattern that essentially lets through only the signals coming from a restricted zone of space. The number of spatial prefiltering circuits and DBF modules is smaller than that of the elementary antennas, and the processor means simultaneously process the outputs signals from the spatial prefiltering circuits so as to obtain, for the radiation pattern of the antenna, an equivalent number of simultaneous, distinct beams of homogeneous quality.

摘要： An antenna of the random spare volume array type comprising a plurality of elementary antennas with almost omnidirectional individual radiation distributed according to a statistically isotropic random relationship of distribution within an enveloping volume having a shape generated by revolution, the mean spacing between elementary antennas being notably greater than a half wavelength of the minimum frequency to be received or transmitted, each elementary antenna being connected to an active module comprising individually controllable phase-shifters themselves connected to a common distributor. According to the disclosure, the elementary antennas are formed by dipoles oriented vertically and supplied by a supply line comprising a first section, extending horizontally between the respective dipole and a common vertical tower coaxial with the enveloping volume having a shape generated by revolution, and a second section extending to the interior of this tower and ending in the distributor. The antenna thus made has a vertical polarization which is advantageous in many examples of use (navy, secondary radars etc.) with, owing to the use of simple dipoles, a very small reflecting surface that makes it very difficult to localize. Furthermore, through this structure, the first sections of the supply lines may easily be self-supporting for the mechanical support of the dipoles on the common vertical tower formed, for example, by a ship's mast.

摘要： A divergence measurement antenna for single-pulse radars comprises at least two radiant panels. With their beams having the same center of phase, they are oriented differently. A monotonic function of the angular divergence of a signal received by the antenna is obtained from the ratio of the power of the signal received by the first panel to its power received by the second panel. An even-parity function of the signal received is obtained by taking the sum of these two signals. Application to precise measurements of angular divergence.
